“Never Let a Crisis Go to Waste” – Samantha Power Celebrates Fertilizer Shortages That will Force Farmers to Transition to “Natural Solutions” (VIDEO)

Samantha Power, Joe Biden’s administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), on Sunday said countries outside of Ukraine are feeling “huge cascading effects” of Putin’s war through “spiraling food prices.”

Power celebrated fertilizer shortages during an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

These people don’t even hide it anymore. They just say the quiet part out loud now.

“Fertilizer shortages are real now because Russia is a big exporter of fertilizer and even though fertilizer is not sanctioned, less fertilizer is coming out of Russia. As a result, we are working with countries to think about natural solutions like manure and compost – and this may hasten transitions that would be in the interest for farmers to make anyway,” Power said.

The problem is the manure is usually on the feedlots hundreds, if not thousands of miles away.

How to transport?

Takes a sh@tload of Diesel, my clueless urbanite Susie!

I don’t like city folk much. They think food comes from Safeway, electricity comes from the wall, and water comes from the tap.
I really don’t care if most of them die from their ignorance.
Hopefully that lady is stuck in a city when SHTF.

And cause mass starvation in the third world and massive food scarcity and price inflation all over the world. How much more do we need to hear to wake up to the fact that the progressive elite are working to engineer a world wide economic disaster and intentional food scarcity with attended starvation in poor , at risk countries.

Grain isn't a source of nitrogen; Leguminous plants can be, but the air an animal breathes is the biggest source.

Also, isn't cattle manure on the way out due methane emissions and global warming. These morons can't keep their crack pot schemes straight. This is the Soviet Union of the 1920s and 30s

As long as she is not one of those starving. She doesn’t care. And as long as those in Control, control the Police and guns, she will be cared for. And the peasants? They will be taken care of in another way. But this is what the people wanted when they replaced President Trump with Lying Joe Biden. At least the people got what they wanted.

these people never miss a meal, never have beans and rice when that rib eye is right there, never drink plain water from the faucet because they’re so special they need sparkling water, the most expensive the better.

Transitions to starving 100’s of millions of people.
They are ok with that happening.

She hasn’t a clue. Myguys use a no-till and manure and greens method of worki g their fields, but corn is a heavy feeder and has to be augmented with fertilizer. They only put it in the hole the seed will be planted in and the planting machine detects where the spot is and puts the seed there.

These guys couldn’t use any less fertilizer than they do. But not everyone can afford fancy tractors. Farming is a horribly expensive occupation.

Let me get this straight ...

Cows bad because they cause GlobalClimateWarmingChange

Need more cows for manure because chemical fertilizers bad

Libtard logic never ceases to amaze me.

A quick perusal through FR's archives reveals Ms Power to be the Chief Unmasker in the Trump saga, and wife of Cass Sunstein.

It doesn't get more swampy than that.

Many of the feedlots are contracted with mulch companies that sell it as mulch after they mix it with other components...such as tree bark, etc.

Industrial scale farming is necessary to feed the global population.

The only reason you would want “natural solutions” is so you could starve billions of them.
