A visitor for breakfast at an Old Town Clovis restaurant decided not to leave a tip – but a political message instead.
The unknown breakfast eater dined at the Rodeo Coffee Shop on Sunday morning, but instead of leaving the customary tip on the bill at the end of their meal wrote that they were “sending a tip to LGBT youth in Florida & Planned Parenthood.”
The message was left after the unidentified diner had consumed their coffee, cinnamon roll (with nuts) and two pancakes with bacon.

The bad customer is not sending the money anywhere. He is just because being cheap and wants to rub the poor waitress’ nose in it.
Maybe used the money for crack and a hooker.
If possible, I'll even embellish it. If, e.g., the server's name is printed on the bill, I'll write, "I'm making a $100 donation in your name - e.g., 'Sally' - to the 'Converting LGBT+ Youth Back to Normalcy' Project!"

I’m thinking of doing my own virtual signaling, and dropping by there and leaving money for the server who got stiffed.
I’ve talked with some servers I know and the worst tippers and customers are liberals.
So the hard working waitress who depends on those tips, is stiffed, so someone can make a political statement for LGBT youth in Florida.
Virtue signaling at its finest.
And the hard working waitress not only loses out on tips she needs for her family, but, she may not support the cause for which you are stiffing her. Which will only make her frustrated at your action.
If you are a regular at that place, she will avoid taking care of you next time you go in there, knowing how she gets no tip so you can virtue signal.
Dumb Asses gotta Dumb Ass, but it is his right as a citizen to throw his money away as he or she sees fit, but you got it right on.

While that response is appealing it is not a good witness. If a server is friendly and gives good service I will continue to tip generously.
