Video of interview at the source link.

I think the Col. is very accurate about the reality of this conflict.

Our media refuses to even hint at the truth.

The most dangerous time will be when the Russians are close to achieving their objective in Eastern Ukraine, and the western media will be faced with having to reconcile the difference between the propaganda they have been selling to western citizens and the actual truth on the ground. That’s when the western alliance is likely to do something drastic.

The Colonel is right!

This should give everyone pause to think.

The United States needs to stay out of this.

He was operational planner during the murder of civilians in Belgrade, Serbia and vigorously called for the surrender of Ukraine at the outset.

Aka, a surrender monkey.

Look, this guy is wrong.

I am sorry, but this conflict isn’t winding down. They will have to completely overrun all of Ukraine to end the conflict. Calling it victory, while the fight continues will make the Russians look even more inept than they have already. They will be unable to suppress the continued fighting unless they have total victory on the ground. Does anybody believe this will happen when they have already lost the drone war?

My impressions is that there will be a big push by the Russians when the ground is dry, and spring is over. However, unless they completely overrun Ukraine, the fighting will just go on forever like Afghanistan for the Russians all over again. So far Russia has failed at it’s only exit plan (quick victory).

So after weeks of telling us about Russia’s incipient victory he’s still telling us about Russia’s incipient victory.

We shall see.

Russia has not been performing in a stellar manner.

Encirclement may be very difficult, if it happens.

Everything on MSM is a lie.

But obscure stuff on the internet is 100% truth. Plus what TASS puts out can he taken as gospel.

The problem with your mindset is that it’s ALL propaganda. Unless you have access to live time Sat Feeds, and encrypted communications, you don’t know what is going on.

“oddly, Zelenskyy seemed to concede that he has no control over what’s happening there.”

Well, yes. Putting Zelenskyy in charge of military operations would be similar to letting Obama be a General.

Lol. So many keyboard warriors. All willing to fight to the last Ukrainian. Maybe you all should volunteer over there. Zelenskyy is asking you to.

I remember this guy: He was regularly passed over for a star because he was considered to be a hot head, and rash.

I think the Col. is very accurate about the reality of this conflict.

MacGregor has been wildly wrong about Ukraine. That's beyond dispute.

First, before the war, he claimed that Ukraine would fall very quickly, the Russians would race to the Dnieper and take Odessa, and that NATO would breakup. Hasn't exactly turned out that way, has it?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-ISoF3mmtQ

On March 2, he said:

“What is happening now is the battle in Eastern Ukraine is really almost over, all the Ukrainian troops there have been largely surrounded and cut off... and if they don't surrender in next 24 hours, I suspect the Russians will ultimately annihilate them... The game is over.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/russian-state-tv-tells-ukraine-to-listen-to-fox-news-guest-doug-macgregor-and-kneel-to-vladimir-putin

It's now more than a month and a half later, and the Russians are even now trying to concentrate forces for something MacGregor said was going to be over a month and a half ago.

Then on March 4, he said this:

Well, the end of this phase is still a few days away. The first five days Russian forces, I think, frankly, were too gentle. They've now corrected that. So I would say another ten days this should be completely over.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2022/03/05/macgregor_zelensky_is_no_hero_hes_a_puppet_that_is_putting_his_own_population_at_unnecessary_risk.html

This guy has been wrong, repeatedly, about how this war would go. It was supposed to be a Russian cakewalk that would result in Ukraine quickly becoming a rump state with no access to the Black Sea, and with NATO collapsing. And that was supposed to take a week, max. Even after the war had started and wasn't going quite as swimmingly as predicted, he reevaluated and still had it being over by March 14.

It is now April 18. Why anyone would believe any of this guy's predictions at this point is beyond me.

I'm sure the neocons, Deep Staters and globalists here will all claim, like they have with Scott Ritter, than Macgregor is peddling Russian talking points.

Any remotely objective analysis of the war is Russian propaganda.

“Macgregor notes the current Russian objective is to encircle those eastern Ukraine forces, cut them off from western supply lines, and then slowly and methodically eliminate them”

Putards like FLState (whatever) and Kazan say this has happened weeks ago....yeahhhhhh

Macgregor has some experience with war.

He is a career Soldier.

I think that his opinion should be seriously considered.

In the case of Ukraine, all Gaul is divided into two parts. There is Kiev and there is Eastern Ukraine. Russia does not have to troops to occupy a 3 million populus urban area like Kiev if Kiev resists. At the outset, Putin gambled that Kiev would fold and not resist. They did. So, he exercised some flexibility to move on to the much easier plan B which is to lock down eastern Ukraine where, unlike Kiev, he has a much more open battlefield and supportive Russian ethnic population. The question is if he is able to lock it down, does he gamble again and start marching on Kiev hoping they will be demoralized enough to sue for peace on his terms to keep him out of there.
