This is why all the Afrikaners left South Africa.

They’re going back now because they see what’s coming.

“Robin hood never stole from the rich per se. He stole from the government and its cronies that taxed the masses into utter poverty and destitution. A small but important distinction.”

Agreed.

Always annoys me when folks get this wrong.

“Noble thugs” ... new leftist concept .... whoever wrote that these criminals are the new robin hoods has done a great disservice to the casual headline reader. They are stalkers, criminal stalkers. One day, some rich guy is going to smoke them with some heat and the federal givernment will pounce on the rich guy.

The title repeats a common theme of gaslighting: Robin Hood didn’t steal from the rich to give to the poor, he stole from government tax collectors to give peasants their own money back. Meanwhile, the LA thieves steal from the actual rich, i.e. not from tax collectors, and they keep the proceeds from the sales of their stolen goods for themselves. So, other than getting every detail wrong, they’re just like Robin Hood. Which is quite close enough for the media, anyway.

Robin Hood robbed tax collectors and church officials who were compelling tithes by threat from people.

Robin Hood is a classic children's book that every child should have read.

How can they get the main concept so wrong?

Of course if we tried to lock up all of the violent criminals our prisons would be packed beyond capacity very rapidly.

Incorrect.

The majority of crimes are committed by a very few people.

I believe it is Chicago where they calculated that 60% of all violent crimes are committed by under 100 people.

And here is a little secret, once you start putting those people away crime goes down. It is really weird.

You would think that keeping violent criminals away from the population would cause an increase in crime to fill up the vacuum. That is what every movie, tv show and book on crime has taught us.

But that is fiction.

And in real life, locking away the violently anti-social keeps the normal people safe.

It would be kind of stupid to rob poor people.

But they do.

Every big thug started out as a little thug and the first person they probably robbed was a family member. And then they robbed the neighbors who probably did not have any more then they did and might have had less.

They rob you because you have something they want and they can get away with it.

Good, maybe they will experience the Turn to become Trump supporters. The rich have evaded much of the crap normal people have been experiencing, thinking it will never affect them.

May this fad be reserved for “Progressive” Democrat voting areas. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it more than racist conservative areas.

That old saying about “There are worse things than dying” does have a degree of validity to it. Simply embracing the role of a sheep-like victim seems like one of those things to me.
