January 6 protester Dustin Thompson was found guilty on Thursday of a felony and several misdemeanors.
After Dustin Thompson’s guilty verdict was read, he was removed from the courtroom in shackles, with little objection from his attorney. It wasn’t expected that he’d be ordered detained like this before sentencing.
As two older security guards removed his belt, ring, and personal items from his pockets, Judge Reggie Walton said in a harsh tone that Thompson was “weak-minded.”

Judge Walton, “Trump is a charlatan who caused an insurgency. He is tearing America apart. That’s the reason why our country is falling apart. I am proud of the jury for doing this.”
Walton continued lavishly praising the jury, and went into the jury room to sit with them and over 10 prosecutors who were present. He told the group about his personal experiences teaching law in Africa.
“I’m showing [the African people] how we have the best judicial system. I don’t want to see Trump ruin it,” he said.
It seemed odd Judge Walton would take such generous time out of his busy schedule to interact with jurors this way. The day before, he instructed the jury to deliberate quickly and reach a verdict so he could leave the courtroom precisely at 5 o’clock. Judge Walton expressed eagerness to take Friday and Monday off for Easter. Security noted he was the only judge looking to clear his calendar that day.

This has nothing to do with Trump in this court. It has to do with the actions of the defendant.
The judges open hostility to Trump was transferred to the defendant.
This is a bad judge that is obviously incapable of rendering just decisions.
Reggie Walton is accusing Trump of doing what he and the left are doing. *They’re* the ones tearing the country apart, destroying everything in their path.
...with extreme prejudice.
Judge Sides With IRS – Targeting Victims Cannot Hire Forensic Expert to Find “Lost” Emails

Chalk up another victory for out of control government and its related rampant abuse of power. A lawsuit brought by the conservative group “True the Vote” asking to have a forensic expert of the court’s choosing attempt to recover the “lost” Lois Lerner emails has been denied. U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton said in his decision that the plaintiff failed to show “irreparable harm” as a result of the “lost” emails, which, since the contents of them is unknown to those who were not involved in the criminal activities, would likely be an impossible thing to prove.
The IRS under the rule of Lois Lerner targeted mostly conservative people and groups, and then the IRS claimed they lost her e-mails. She had been using her personal e-mails so as not to have government backups or traceability.
One day after the House of Oversight and Government Reform Committee sent former IRS Tax Exempt Organizations Director Lois Lerner a letter requiring her appearance before the Committee on March 5, 2014, her attorneys say she won’t testify without being granted immunity.
The Committee was calling her back after determining that Lerner had waived her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination when she declared her innocence.
In May of 2014, The House voted to hold former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress for refusing to testify about the agency’s improper scrutiny of Tea Party groups.
On some of the IRS’s official e-mail retrieved, Lois Lerner had referred to conservatives as “assholes” and “terrorists”.
IRS emails released by the House Oversight Committee show staff working for Democratic Ranking Member Elijah Cummings communicated with the IRS multiple times between 2012 and 2013 about voter fraud prevention group True the Vote.
Lerner purposely targeted Tea Parties across the country as well as other conservative groups. The IRS Scandal involves: •At least 292 conservative groups targeted •At least 5 pro-Israel groups targeted •Constitutional groups targeted •Groups that criticized Obama administration were targeted •At least two pro-life groups targeted •A Texas voting-rights group was targeted •Conservative activists and businesses were targeted •At least 88 IRS agents were involved in the targeting scandal •At least one conservative Hispanic group was targeted
Video shows Lois Lerner discussing the political pressure that swirled around the IRS in 2010. Lerner says “everyone” was “screaming at” the IRS to stop the flood of money pouring into the 2010 elections through 501(c)(4) groups as a result of Citizens United. Lerner spoke to a small group at Duke´s Sanford School of Public Policy on October 19, 2010, just two weeks before the wave election that brought the Tea Party and Republicans significant gains in Congress.
