I understand Will Smith smacked Chris Rock live onstage at the Oscars last night because Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife’s (Jada Pinket-Smith) hair.
I guess without President Donald Trump to curse at and kick around it was inevitable that they turn on each other.
Maybe we should just cancel the Academy Awards until we elect someone they all hate again.

Surprised Steele didn’t then condemn Trump for appearing on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
There are a ton of security people at these events. I noticed none of them came onto the stage to get between the two and get the situation under control.
Yep, totally agree. First, they never should have let him accept the Oscar, they have decorum rules and they needed to enforce them. Second, this was a physical assault, and they look the other way? Then applaud?

If you’re a big enough star you can slap someone on live TV and casually sit down. Enjoy the rest of the ceremony. Win an award. Get a standing ovation. Kinda apologize but not really. Get another standing ovation and then have people defend you. America is amazing. #Oscars
