Unverified graphic footage purports to show Ukrainian servicemen shooting Russians at point-blank range
Russia has launched a probe after graphic video emerged online, purporting to show the torture of prisoners of war at the hands of Ukrainian servicemen.
“The video circulating online shows captured soldiers being shot in the legs with medical assistance,” the country’s Investigative Committee said in a statement on Sunday.
The head of the body, Alexander Bastrykin, has ordered “investigators to establish all the circumstances of the incident, collect and record evidence and identify all the persons involved in it to subsequently bring them to justice.” While it was not immediately clear where or when the disturbing videos were shot, some reports indicate the incident unfolded at a military compound located in the eastern Ukrainian region of Kharkov, which is used by “nationalist” units, the committee added.

I would tend to give a LOT of latitude to the country being invaded. A LOT of latitude.

I saw it on telegram last night. There’s a lot of gruesome stuff there. Like a Russian getting crucified and lit on fire.
That’s just a generic picture of Russian POWs I pulled off line (it’s also illegal to publicize pictures of POWs, we complained about that to Vietnam and Iraq.). The POWs being kneecapped are at the video.
So Zelensky is a war criminal. When will we start bombing them?

Didn’t seem to bother you when Ukranians were allowed to attack their own people for 8 years killing 14000. Your hero Zelensky was supposed to be leader of all and promised he would end that killing in the Donbas, but did nothing.
Do you think it would be okay if a violent group like Antifa was allowed to kill 14000 people they don’t agree with here in America while the President turns the other cheek and China was arming the antifa killers?

There are no innocents in war.
Does the Ukraine even have any centralized control? Last I heard Zelensky was arming civilians and criminals. I know neocons will laugh at this but it will be hard complain about “war crimes” when you look the other way when your side does it.

It’s been happening to our own for 100 years. I’m simply acknowledging reality.
If a bunch ***holes drove tanks through my neighborhood after dropping bombs on it for a week or so and I got my hands on a few of them, having their knees shattered would be the least of their worries.

That’s old, and is from the Chechen War. I saw that video about ten years ago.
Yep. Think of the fire bombing of Dresden and Tokyo which killed over 150,000 civilians. If the US had lost, the generals and who ordered it would have no doubt been tried for war crimes.
