'The price of the sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia'

War in Ukraine threatens to blow US food costs sky high.

Experts say American shoppers will begin to see higher grocery bills as the war in Ukraine threatens global food supplies.

President Biden said Thursday that a food shortage is "gonna be real" following the sanctions that were placed on Russia by the U.S. government as a result of Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion into Ukraine.

"With regard to food shortage, yes we did talk about food shortages, and it's gonna be real," Biden said during a press conference at a NATO summit in Brussels, Belgium, following a meeting with other world leaders.

"The price of the sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia," he added. "It’s imposed upon an awful lot of countries as well, including European countries and our country as well."

They would love to nuke deplorables, the unwashed in this country. Just like those ME folks calling for our destruction.. how many times and ways do they need to say imprison them, kill them, take their children before everyone understands.
They are specially protected from a nuke, not equally protected like we the people. One Second After.. esp tge last book, demonstrates the possibility. Their daily vile hatred makes it more likely.
We exist only because they haven’t developed machines to feed them and change their kids diapers. They sure as heck aren’t going to pay the same tax rates we are in order to sustain their mobacracy.
Their is no coexistence with many of them, if what we have heard on the view is how they “feel”. /r

You’re probably right, but a lot of people are going to experience the rent vs. food dilemma. Or the mortgage payment vs. food dilemma, or the cancer treatments vs. food dilemma, or whatever. May God help us all.

I think this will happen to people in poor countries. The price of staples like flour isn’t a big deal in rich countries like the US.

May have to do some wall climbing into the elites gated communities like they allowed the 3rd world to enter the US.

The hungry people in poor countries will cross over our Southern border and take whatever food they want without paying. Thank Brandon for the mess we're in.

I think the ones in trouble are in other places.

Here is a map showing GDP per person. The darker the richer.

Africans, Afghans and some South-East Asians will be in serious pain. South America won't be partying, but will be mostly fine.

The worlds poor and hungry will flood America. Biden has opened our Southern border and no one seems to notice.

They are blaming Russia/Putin for all they can.

Look at all the insanity a flu caused worldwide. Small businesses and kids ruined. US election laws changed to steal an election. Now Lawrence Fink CEO of Blackrock is saying this Russia/Ukraine thing will accelerate Central Digital Currency "as a tool to settle international transactions". Well gee, I thought that's what the US dollar was for. I get the feeling the US dollar is about to become useless. There's already talk of other countries trading in other currencies.

The S is about to HTF.

It was some little smelt that they used as an excuse to cut off water to the farming areas of SoCal. Viaducts used to bring water South but they send it out to sea now.

I think that guy is wrong and possibly playing some game. Those who won with that instinctively disagree, but I think these cryptocurrencies are a scam and the promoters are looking for losers in a musical chairs game.

I remember the word ‘famine’ being on the news all the time when I was a kid in the 70s. Guess we’ll be hearing it again.

In the US, expect less of a selection and a lot higher prices and when the EBT crowd can’t get their belly full on what EBT gives them, expect riots. The smash and grab will be at grocery stores instead of jewelry stores and Walgreens.

All brought to you by our global masters just like a flu that changed global society. Obama’s not doing this. It’s a group of people who are richer and smarter than any US politician doing this.

All the money is on the coasts, especially East coast. The whole center of the country should be blue with spots of light blue and even white. Luckily it's not desert so people can garden for half the year.

crypto as we know it is or will be completely different than a Central Bank Digital Currency. I don’t think crypto is a scam. Some of them are but not all. Thing is, you can’t have unrecorded P2P transactions and have CBDC work so they will find a way to do away with all digital currencies except the CBDC. Once there’s a CBDC, regular crypto will be made akin to tax evasion.

Only if you mean the reservations. Even Appalachia is rich compared to Italy and at the level of France.

Are we supposed to forget all those cargo ships dead in the water, for weeks, unable to be unloaded?

The food shortages are due to biden’s policies. The Ukraine crisis was hyped and inflated to the crisis of the day so as to provide someone to blame.

When the Chinese get control of the World’s Reserve Currency, starvation will be the rule of the day for Americans. Biden allowed 5 millions more mouths to be fed in the USA since his election.
