Flynn dumps Mo, backs Durant instead

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has switched his endorsement in the Alabama U.S. Senate race to Michael Durant, dealing a blow to the reeling Mo Brooks campaign.

Flynn, who received a presidential pardon to avoid jail time and advocated for a military coup to overturn the 2020 presidential election, had originally endorsed Brooks last June. At the time, Flynn was in Birmingham for a speaking engagement paid for by the Jefferson County Republican Club.

Now, though, Flynn has rethought his endorsement and determined that “Alabama doesn’t need another career politician.”

Instead, Flynn said in a written statement that Durant is “a battle tested patriot who puts political correctness aside and country above all else. That’s exactly what we need in the United States Senate and why I am proud to endorse his campaign.”

I don’t have a vote in Alabama (unlike a lot of fictitious people in Birmingham), but Durant and Brooks are both significant upgrades. Brooks is having a tiff with Trump right now, but that is unlikely to mean anything at all in terms of policy.

Okay, but Trump supported Brooks to the hilt. Now, he supports Durant?

I know total BS when I hear it and Mo Brooks claims BS stink to high heaven. I don’t believe a word of it because it is not believable.
No one Senator has that much power and President Trump understands this.
So, methinks once again, President Trump’s actual words are being distorted by yet another pathetic politician.
Politicians are ALL to be viewed by any thinking American as HIGHLY suspect.
A very great many Politicians have for decades proclaimed one thing during election cycles and then acted totally opposite once elected.
They think we Americans are fools. It is our total disgust with them that we elected President Trump in the first place.
We wanted a man of his word and deed. Not a Slimeball, politician. Once we elected such a man the Slimeball politicians banded together with the Deep State to destroy OUR President.
Thank God Almighty, Donald Trump is a man of Guts and Determination and has steeled himself to fight yet again for the USA.

Losing by 30 points or whatever will do that. Nobody wants that stink on them.

A lot of people get overly attached to politicians who appear on “conservative” media. Mo Brooks was one of the beneficiaries of that phenomenon.

Mo says to forget about the 2020 election and look forward, not back.

Brooks actually came out to tell America we should just
forget the steal in 2020 and ‘move on’. WRONG. Do not pass
go do not collect $200. If America is unable to provide
fair, fraud free elections, we no longer have an America.
Brooks put his foot in his mouth after shooting it.

Yeah, if he said that, then he has no problem with voter fraud. So, good riddance to Mo.

Yes, he did say that. Trump rally in Alabama (just after he
was endorsed by PDJT) Watching the rally, live, it was
necessary to pinch myself to be certain this was no dream.
He immediately bit the hand of the man who ‘fed’ him.

This, tho not seen as CNN broadcast (was seen on RSBN)

https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4974184/user-clip-mo-brooks-cullman He certainly made a statement and many of us
disagreed.
