Updates: Since making this video Russia has allowed workers at the Nuclear power plant to safely evacuate. Well, we're now 2 weeks in and I think it's time we revisited some of the issues because a lot has changed, and not exactly in Russia's favor.

This was uploaded last Sunday on March 12. "LazerPig" is a character of a English pig created by a unknown and presumably English man (many here disagree with that) who discusses military subjects.

This is more serious, less humorous analysis of what is going on in Ukraine. He discusses the failures of Russian equipment and operations. The Russian operations are an completely embarrasing mess. The Ukrainains are fighting pretty much as well as anyone could under the same situation.

I finally had time to watch it, and there’s some pretty funny points. Russia isn’t running out of planes, they’re running out of pilots. An AWACS plane has to sit on the ground in Belarus because there’s no fuel available. And one of the laugh out loud points is that Russian military vehicles get stuck in the mud and are abandoned. So, Ukrainian farmers show up with tractors and tow the vehicles away. As for the Oligarchs, they are pissed about now. Their accounts are frozen, their yachts are seized, the second homes and apartments for their girlfriends are compromised, and their dumb assed kids are being ejected from prestigious schools.

I posted a video by Aaron Amick aka "Sub Brief" of his Early Analysis of Russia's Invasion of Ukraine. It gets worse.

If he is right, Russia can support at most 150,000 soldiers in Ukraine, no more. Ukraine is the size of Texas and a population of 40 million. Imagine invading a country the size of Texas, using 150,00 soldiers, and everyone is either directly fighting back or sending Iphone videos of troop movements back to HQ. Short term, Russia can capture a city or two. Long term I don't see how they can hold ground.

In his talk, he emphasizes the need to capture a large airport so that supplies can be flown for distribution outwards. He might be right. But I wonder if there are enough anti aircraft missiles to make this a nightmare also. Planes landing or taking off would be targeted and the base itself would be under constant mortar attack.

I like his reasoning and he appears to have some good sources.
