They just need Brett Baier to announce it.

I believe John McCain was in favor of the coup in Ukraine that threw Yanukovych out of power in 2014.

McCain was an idiot and I’m glad he’s dead. He was the worst Democrat in Congress.

At most, this guy might end up running one of the regions in the east before Russia annexes them. Even that is doubtful. He is yesterday’s news.

“I believe John McCain was in favor of the coup in Ukraine that threw Yanukovych out of power in 2014.”

We can also thank John McCain for Motor Voter, which enabled the 2020 Steal. Some ‘gifts’ just ‘keep on giving’.

McCain said a hundred things in 2014....half of them conflicted with the other half, so it’s hard to say if he was rational, or just as irrational as Putin.

It looks like Putin is doing the exact same thing in Ukraine as he did in Georgia.

There’s a script to this whole thing.

But there are four things different on this ‘adventure’.

1. Economically, down to the average guy on the streets of Moscow...they are all feeling the ‘pinch’, and it’ll be worse as each week goes by. Printing more Rubles? Very likely and inflation probably will escalate beyond 50-percent in the next two months. I’ve seen various on-the-street interviews, and trying to get kind of cash out of the ATMs is getting hard. One guy was whining....trying to get Apple-pay to work at the subway station crapped out, and he had to go find a cash machine.

2. This was supposed to be done in 72 hours, but the Ukraine enthusiasm and use of anti-tank weapons, along with the fuel shortage for the Russians...have stalled episode. Some rumor (zero value) started today that some conscripts are sabotaging their vehicles...not wanting to engage in this.

3. The more Putin appears on TV and utters the reason for the ‘adventure’ is neo-Nazis and dope dealers in the Ukraine...the less anyone in Russia believes the story. Throw in the puffy face, and there’s some health issue going on with the guy. Go find that speech he did Sunday and put it up on a big screen TV....he’s puffed-up like you’d be on steroids.

4. Finally, those Oligarch folks are feeling the heat throughout Europe. What loot/cash they had....is in jeopardy of getting frozen. A lot are now looking for sales/exchange, where they can get Euro/Yen/Dollars, and just hide out until this clears up.

This is a whole new script for Putin to deal with, and he’s out of his traditional Warsaw Pact ‘waters’.

There are going to be a lot of shocked Millenials and Gen Z’s when they realize this is not a limited series they are streaming.

They are rooting for the “underdogs.” But, as is the case with most ‘Cinderella Stories” they end badly.

The city of Kiev is about to be surrounded and it will take a couple of weeks...but it will fall. And...without electricity they cannot post their social media. They residents will die in silence.

This is about to get real. And honestly, I don’t think most people in the US and Europe have a clue. They will demand action...and wonder why the “leaders” sit back and watch.

Our leaders will post hash tags. Zelensky will die.

I think they Ukrainians will make it nasty and expensive. But with supply lines cut and limited air power...the end of this story is already written.

If you have young members of your families...you should start preparing them for the possibility of a gruesome end. There will be no second season for this limited series. There may be a re-boot in a few years....

the fuel shortage for the Russians

No actual shortage, they started out with plenty of fuel, but the troops sold half of their fuel for vodka at the border. Same for the tankers that were supposed to refuel the other vehicles later.
