Russian state TV: “Our submarines alone can launch more than 500 nuclear warheads, which guarantees the destruction of the US and NATO for good measure. The principle is: why do we need the world if Russia won’t be in it?”

Leave it to Joe Biden to get the world in a nuclear war.

Seriously, this buffoon destroys everything he gets his shaky gray hands on and now, things are getting very uncomfortable with the Russia situation.

Joe Biden could’ve stopped this mess a long time ago, but he paved the way for Russia to be an aggressor by being a dementia patient, and also with his actions and inaction leading up to Russia invading Ukraine. And now, his “tough guy” rhetoric is just poking the bear. He’s writing a check his old wrinkly butt can’t cash.

Now, Russia is feeling the squeeze from US and NATO and Putin is backed into a corner, and lashing out.

...

Russia State TV just issued this chilling warning to the United States and all NATO countries:

“Russian state TV: “Our submarines alone can launch more than 500 nuclear warheads, which guarantees the destruction of the US and NATO for good measure. The principle is: why do we need the world if Russia won’t be in it?” ”

Human Events editor Jack Posobiec responded with: “US too. Submarine-launched nuclear missiles are a key factor of 2nd strike capability and Mutual Assured Destruction”

...

This is a suicide bomber mentality.

...

Is this typical Russian propaganda?

Maybe.

Or maybe not.

We don’t know the mental state of mind of Vladimir Putin, do we?

We don’t know how far he’s willing to push a man who he clearly knows has some “Alzheimer’s.” We don’t know what Putin will do if he truly feels that he is cornered and has nowhere left to go.

If Putin gets to the point where he’s a goner, he is signaling to the world that he will take everyone down with him.

...

Now, it could be hyperbole, but with Biden at the helm, do you really wanna roll those dice?

I don’t.

Here’s what people online are saying:

“US too, everyone knows it… But Russia is at war and EU and NATO are clearly supporting Ukraine. Ergo, they have “reason” to launch.”

“Did you hear this? They are saying if we are going to squeeze them out of the world who cares if there is one. That’s not good”

“It is horrendous we are all talking this way….but yet here we are.”

“ITS GETTING REAL”

“Instead of that, we should end this war by not putting Ukraine in NATO. Issue resolved.”

“Joe Biden responds to Russia while on vaca for the weekend “we have submarines also, would you like ham and cheese or Italian?””

“Insanity. Stay the hell out. It’s not our fight and hasn’t been since 1991. Let the big talkers in Brussels fight if they desire. Russia has said for 25 years do not expand NATO towards their border with its war guarantee for each member.”

“So why is the United States egging him on. I’m sorry but I just don’t get that. Ukraine and Russia want to talk and the US isn’t having it. Are they trying to back Putin into a corner?”

“I haven’t heard any assurances from Biden or anyone that our nukes and defenses are up to code! I haven’t seen any pictures showing American readiness! When was the last time anything was tested? 1990???? Judgement day is coming.”

“Is this what Build Back Better means? Yikes”

“They’re saying if we can’t be be a part of the world then we’ll end the world.”

The rhetoric from Biden and his team of insane Millennials needs to stop.

There is no good reason to be poking a mad man over a fight that has nothing to do with us.

This is exactly what Tulsi Gabbard was talking about when she said Biden could very easily “accidentally” land us in a nuclear war.

It is Biden’s weakness that invited this aggression by Putin in the first place.

Weakness has always invited aggression.

China will be the next to exploit it.

Only strength deters aggression.

Recently the Russians announced the construction of a drone nuclear submarine carrying the largest bomb in existence. (Look up The Tsar Bomb if you want to know how big they can build them.) The idea was that this bomb could end all life on the east coast of America this side of the mountains. Presumably it includes radioactive poison that will render the land deadly for centuries. That isn’t the kind of weapon a confident nation builds. It’s a doomsday weapon for when Russia has been defeated and, presumably, wiped out. It’s the kind of weapon a nation in such a steep demographic decline that it can’t protect its borders…or feels it can’t. People say, well they have nukes. But if they felt that was enough of a deterrent why would they build a doomsday weapon? The Russians are paranoid and the US has done nothing but poke the bear, from Hillary blaming them for everything to Obama trying to expand NATO and starting ”color” revolutions. I’d say their paranoia is justifiable as they’re just too good a whipping boy for the Democrats to let them alone. And, now we have a doddering idiot who talks about how tough he is. (Stupid high school bravado. It’s embarrassing to witness.)

The men on the line will probably launch their weapons.

But like your Canadian police analogy, if the order was to set off a nuclear weapon in Ottawa, someone at the top would have removed Trudeau.

Talk like this I’m sure is frightening the Russian people.

“Would the sub commanders OBEY an order they knew would end the world based on Putin’s command?”

It’s up in the air, no oone can say for sure what would happen. But all soldiers are trained to follow orders. This may be instructive:

Bit tired of conservative Putin Butt Kissers.

What are you talking about? Who’s kissing Putin’s butt? Those who don’t think we have a dog in this fight?

You sure about that?

Obama and Biden purged our military of people who would not follow them.

Has Putin?

Putin had nothing to fear from NATO and he knew it.

This was the opposite. Biden was letting Europe buy Putin’s oil, Stopping our own production, pulling everyone out of Ukraine etc.

We didn’t poke any bear we baited the bear.

Fair question. But don’t forget the willingness of Russian commanders to execute Crazy Ivan maneuvers. Not that those orders came directly from Moscow but they were desperately reckless none the less.

... you have no clue what you’re talking ...

Putin is firmly in control of Russia (I think of him as the new Tsar, however he may be the new Stalin). Oligarchs have almost no influence or power.

As much as I distrust the Guardian, the author (Angus Roxburgh) makes the case that it is members of the Duma (Senate) who have more influence with Putin and they should be the target of the sanctions :

First, imposing sanctions on oligarchs has little effect on Russian policy. Some Russian oligarchs are close to Putin, and some of them probably help hide his wealth in offshore accounts. Putin uses them to finance projects that he needs done quickly – infrastructure for the Sochi Olympics, a bridge to annexed Crimea.

But it is an entirely one-way relationship. Putin allows them to prosper on two conditions: that they cough up the cash when he needs it, and that they stay out of politics. The idea that they influence his policies is pure fantasy. The proof of that is that sanctions regularly meted out on oligarchs since 2014 have made not one jot of difference to Putin’s policies. The west imposed sanctions over Crimea, the downing of a Malaysian passenger jet over Ukraine and the attempted murder of Sergei Skripal in Salisbury. None of them elicited so much as an expression of regret, far less a change of course. What they did do, of course, was deepen Putin’s already simmering hatred of the west.

Of course, money launderers who profit from the UK’s lax regime should be exposed and prosecuted. But not all of them are Russian. And none of them have a say in Kremlin decision-making – certainly not in his foreign policies.

You only had to look at the quaking members of Putin’s security council on Monday, as they were forced to stand one by one at a lectern and profess their support for his decision to recognise the Donbas republics, to understand that Putin takes orders from no one. Not from his closest political team, and certainly not from rich Russians based in London.

Great stategy there Vlad, just keep reinforcing the fact that you are a mentally unstable lunatic on the level of Kim Il Jon.

He's practically begging the security and military elite to step up and do what is best for Russia

And the Russian banks’ money.

It is Biden’s weakness that invited this aggression by Putin in the first place.

Yes; however the aggression is entirely Putin's fault; Biden is simply a weak President reflecting a weak USA gone mad. The real weakness is spiritual. A good measure of that decay is the percentage of internet traffic devoted to porneia vs. the percentage of internet traffic devoted to honoring God.
