Canadian police on horseback trampled peaceful protests in Ottawa Friday. Among those injured was an elderly woman using a walker. The video below is reminiscent of the Gestapo tactics of Birmingham Police Chief Bull Connor. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has turned law enforcement into jack-booted thugs. Police are no longer on the side of the Canadian people. Caution, the videos below are graphic.

Not sure. Saw 2 different posts, one that she passed, the other said she fractured her shoulder and was bruised but otherwise ok

False report. The video is very disturbing.

It looked like one of the horses turned into the crowd, and bowled over the old lady with the walker.
Horses, by the way, can be very persuasive crowd control instruments. I will tell you that by experience
Woman on Twitter claims to be relative said she hurt her shoulder but will be okay.
I can confirm from someone I know on the scene today that the lady struck by the horse has a shoulder injury. Not dead.
Most likely fatality is the reported heart attack of one of the people being beaten with a rifle butt, however I’d bet against that one too.
There are 2 of them. One in red coat on a mobility scooter and one in a brown coat under the horses hoof

Totally unnecessary and pathetic overuse of force.
Violence against peaceful, unarmed protestors is what started the Russian Revolution.
On January 22, 1905, a large group of ill-treated, overworked, poverty-stricken workers led by a priest, marched to the czar’s Winter Palace in St. Petersburg to make their demands.
Czar Nicholas II unleashed the police forces and Cossacks riding horses on them. Over 100 workers were killed and about 300 wounded. The cruel treatment of the soldiers and unfeeling czarist regime was enough for the peaceful protestors to turn violent and overthrow Nicholas.
Justin Castro may be in for a surprise if he keeps pushing.
