A really funny story to go with the song
I watch this vid about once a month.
You know Arlo, like his father Woody before him, was a Commie, right?
When Woody wrote “This Land Is My Land,” he wasn’t speaking metaphorically.
Actually he is not a communist, though his father was.

While he thought it “wonderful” that Donald Trump was not relying on campaign donations, he did not believe that it necessarily meant that Trump had the best interests of the country in mind.[41]”
