The police crackdown against the Trucker Freedom Convoy in Ottawa got off to an early start Sunday evening with the seizure of more than 800 gallons of fuel at a baseball stadium outside the downtown area...(CTV News)

Fuel was also seized in downtown Ottawa at the corner of Metcalfe and Albert Streets.
Four arrests reported at that location based on a reporter's observation of four people in a police vehicle.

Latest reports are that the police seized fuel this evening in other locales in the center of the protest area.

The cops all dressed in black stormtrooper soldier style garb. It’s getting pretty sickening seeing them always dress this way. It puts a military mentality into their heads.

Mounties used to be highly respected. They are pissing that away by dressing and acting like oppressors facing a violent mob. The protest has gone on a week and not a single act of violence has occurred except a communist hitting them with his car.

How do we know these people are even police? Supposedly the FBI and DHS are helping. Canada could be using military (or even outside forces) and are calling them ‘police’
I wouldn’t be surprised that there is an on-call goon force that governments share. Something that would eliminate concern that citizen wouldn’t fire on citizen.
Seizing fuel needed for heating when it’s 10 F outside is a provocation and shows the idiots in the government are not learning the correct lesson.
Their mentality is not to pay attention, but instead to find ways to crack down.
It’s a step in the very wrong direction.
I can’t disagree with that but the people on the ground are obviously not impressed with their actions and didn’t feel threatened by the small loss of heater fuel.
Whatever they are and who signs their paycheck, they are acting in a police function. And they are dressed like soldiers going to war.
