It is by far the LARGEST truck convoy in history. Not hundreds, not thousands, but TENS OF THOUSANDS of trucks are now rolling eastwards across Canada towards Ottawa for a massive protest for freedom.
It just occurred to me that this is like the American Revolution when the people in New England stopped drinking English tea. They went without tea to force England to stop the tyranny.
The people in Canada know they will not be getting food, fuel, and other essentials with the trucks shut down, but they are supporting them KNOWING some privation is coming! Everybody is going to suffer pain and hardship for the cause.
That is true patriotism.
Coming soon to a country near you.

“Working from home” my a$$. He’s probably holed up in the Canadian version of the Mount Weather nuclear bunker, hoping to whatever god he believes in that the military doesn’t turn him over to the Canadian Patriots.
Or, at least, one can hope.

So far I am seeing a complete media blackout on this trucker story. It is a big story for regular Canadian/U.S. citizens. Not even Fox news has mentioned it and it is not on their Facebook page. Has anyone seen this story on the news?
Trudeau is in a bad spot.
With the other countries like GB and Denmark, etc, easing restrictions and declaring the pandemic over, it is putting pressure on other countries like us and Canada.
So the options he has here are a lose/lose situation for him.
He can double down, which is NOT going to go over well.
He can refuse to budge, which the truckers can and likely will, too.
He can ease the restrictions and claim that they were going to anyways, which nobody will believe him.
If he does ease the restrictions, even if they were planning on it, it’s going to look like he capitulated to the truckers, which is going to be terrible optics not only for the Canadian government, but also for any other country in the world.
Easing the restrictions will only serve to show the world that the people of the world still have power over their governments if they just get organized.
No matter how this ends, he is not going to come out of it well, which will also serve to displease his puppet masters, and who knows what they will do to him. He can’t afford to fail and cross his handlers because I don’t see them as having qualms about dealing with failures ruthlessly.
He sounded like a hissing snake in his recent diatribe, full of false and nasty accusations against the convoy

After watching that clip, I think I am going ahead and watch “Convoy.” Tubi has it for FREE.
