Family member's friend and coworker was vaxxed early as a frontline worker. Dec 2020?
They now have optic nerve inflammation and may be unable to work.
Seems to me I read something about vax affecting vision/eyes, but cannot seem to find post or article.
Any be would be appreciated.

Not sure if all the patients in some of thse studies with shingles had had the shingles vaccine either before or after the vax...

unjabbed but i had weird vision with covid.
flashing, dimming brightening, especially after waking up. after images. like a light show. definitely a specific symptom of covid for me just like a partial lost my sense of smell/taste.
So terribly sad.
Sounds like ocular migraines. My wife gets them. Has been getting them long before the vax.
Measels will do this also.
kind of a spactacular occular migrane. happened about a week in for me. after the worst symptoms were over and the lung trashing starts.
interesting that the jab produces a far worse version of symptoms i had.

In 10 years there will be enough data assessing the vaxxed and unvaxxed to know what reactions may have a correlation to or causation from the vaccine. I’m sure many modes will be better understood by then. There is certainly no reason to resent the unvaxxed, as the are the control group and any real scientist knows medical data is absolutely useless without a control.
So question to the unvaxxed: How many here have had sudden changes to their vision these past two years? How many of you developed shingles in the past two years? How many of your unvaxxed friends and family have suffered sudden optic nerve issues, cancer relapses, strokes, heart attacks? Just curious. It’d be an interesting survey to take nationwide starting at this time and follow for 10 years.

Poor dear, so sorry to hear.
BTW I’ve noticed a huge decrease in OM episodes since I started making sure I was sufficiently hydrated by drinking half my body weight in water (60 oz in my case). Now I only get them once or twice a year instead of 12-18 times a year.
I had viral meningitis 35 years ago and it was hell. This definitely isn’t that. I have no headache, neck stiffness, or vomiting, and it’s been at least a week since my symptoms started.

My body already took care of that, but in during the process Freddy Kruger went through my blood vessel capillaries throughout my body shredding them. They are physically cut, nothing can uncut them.
Aneurisms formed, exploded, and retinopathy set in.
I which a food or a vitamin or a drug could fix this, but no...damage done.
Don’t comfort yourself with a thought that I just don’t know how to treat it, that’s not the case, it just happened quicker than we could detect it. We only detected the damage after the fact.
That sounds like what I’m experiencing. I’m on day 16 of my second covid infection. I still have a lingering cough and now this visual disturbance. I also lost my sense of taste for a few days but not my sense of smell. Did it get better as you recovered?
