I agree, unfortunately for her. But my hope is that she and Manchin are the canaries in the coal mine that America has finally awoken to the true evil of the left, and Nanzi and Chuckie will soon be gone, and a more moderate left will emerge. Long shot I know, but this is how something like that would start to take shape.

Exactly, both efforts, to pass a voter take over bill and end the filibuster were defeated by a simple up and down vote with a bipartisan majority voting to defeat them. This is what Chuckie Schumer wanted and that is what he got, quite bitchin!
They thought they could trot out the supposed moderate Biden to hide their agenda, but the wheels quickly came off by what happened at the border, and energy costs, which effect everything else. Add in Afghanistan, and vaccine mandates, and they’ve stepped from one poo poo pile to another.
I am cautiously optimistic. Very, very surprised that a deal has not been brokered to bring these two to heel. If this stands it will be the first positive for America since 2019.
One thing to keep in mind, sucky schumer used a procedural method to keep this issue alive. Obviously he intends to bring it back up again. Dems are scum and never let anything go. Look for it in a different package, something they can slip by the dummy party.
Did you notice the underlying bill was nominally about extension of NASA leases? That was a bill that had previously passed both houses, and the Democrats in the house had hollowed it out and used the same House Resolution number and title for their election nationalization bill. They were trying to pass it through a reconciliation process when the Senate had never approved of it in the first place.

Oh no, bipartisanship is like tolerance, it's only required of non-leftists. All those years they said to us, "If people don't like a song, all they have to do is change the station...If people don't like a book, all they have to do is not read it...If people don't like what is being said, all they have to do is not listen...People should be accepted as they are because it does not intrude in YOUR lives..." and so on and so forth really only pertained to them. When it comes to our songs, our books, our speech, and our lives, banning and imposing are the orders of the day.
Her biggest worry should be a visit from the FBI. Especially after the investigation of that Texas democrat that opposes biden on the border.
Maybe she should have done a thumbs up .
