A Group of Scientists and Doctors Sign Letter to Censor Joe Rogan for Interviewing Dr. Robert Malone but Their Language Gives Them Away
Red State ^ | 01/13/2022 | Brandon Morse

Joe Rogan really set off the left when he had on Dr. Robert Malone as his guest on the show. The episode was nothing short of eye-opening. Malone, one of the fathers of the modern vaccine, divulged information on everything from the COVID-19 vaccine, insider baseball within the medical community, and how the government uses politics to make the coronavirus profitable. As a person who listened to it myself, I can tell you that it’s a must-hear.

However, not everyone wants you to sit and listen to Dr. Malone, and in fact, would like to have Rogan censored in order to keep him from ever having information like Malone’s reach the ears of the general public.

According to Rolling Stone, this is why 270 doctors, scientists, and professors have apparently signed a letter aimed at Spotify, complaining that Rogan needs to be reigned in for spreading every leftist’s favorite word; “misinformation”:

We are a coalition of scientists, medical professionals, professors, and science communicators spanning a wide range of fields such as microbiology, immunology, epidemiology, and neuroscience and we are calling on Spotify to take action against the mass-misinformation events which continue to occur on its platform. With an estimated 11 million listeners per episode, JRE is the world’s largest podcast and has tremendous influence. Though Spotify has a responsibility to mitigate the spread of misinformation on its platform, the company presently has no misinformation policy.

The letter goes on to complain that Rogan has spread a “distrust in science and medicine” and complained that Malone triggered a distrust in “societal leaders.” Perhaps unsurprisingly, buried within the article are hyperlinks that reference the complaints, including links to leftist sources such as Media Matters for America, Politifact, and Rolling Stone. One link even refers back to a post on Instagram which promotes a podcast that supposedly debunks Malones claims.

The letter itself actually started with an Instagram influencer named Jessica Rivera, a Senior Adviser at the Pandemic Prevention Institute, who gained a following promoting vaccination, especially for children. In one photo, she brags that her 5-year-old will soon be fully vaccinated as she stands next to a cardboard cutout of Dr. Anthony Fauci. She also seems to spend a lot of time talking to CNN.

In her last post, she linked the Rolling Stone article above promoting the letter to Spotify and said she was “proud to have co-authored and signed this open letter to Spotify about the dangerous misinformation” on Rogan’s show.

To catch you up, Fauci is currently in the hot seat over information revealed in an August 13, 2021 report on the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) which divulges a lot of narrative breaking facts for the left, including the NIH’s involvement in the creation of COVID-19, the efficacy of ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, etc. as a curative for COVDI-19, and that the vaccines do, in fact, work poorly against the virus.

This document effectively confirms a lot of what Malone said on Rogan’s show.

This letter being promoted by Rolling Stone seems to be more of an attempt at censorship than keeping the facts the facts. Judging from the DARPA report, we’re effectively seeing a campaign from the left to keep their narratives at the forefront and prevent any information from challenging them. It doesn’t help that the letter presented by Rivera and these scientists link to extreme leftist sources like Media Matters, but it really doesn’t help that they use nebulous terms to describe Rogan’s podcast like “misinformation.”

The term “misinformation” has been thrown around with reckless abandon by the left to describe anything that might be remotely inconvenient to their narrative, whether the thing in question is factual or not. Interestingly enough, no misinformation seems to be coming from the left, even when the numbers they’re spouting are flat-out lies.

“Misinformation” is simply a catch-all phrase that has no true definition except, “they said something we don’t like.” Scientists that argue against Malone would do better in publishing journals and possibly debating these things in person with people like Malone, yet as Rand Paul pointed out, instead of doing these things, people like Fauci don’t do that. They go to the press instead just as Rivera did with Rolling Stone.

Compared to the rest of the population, medical experts are few, yet there does seem to be a divide in the medical community about the virus and how well the vaccines work. Every single one of these professionals should be able to have their say, yet the left is attempting to silence any and all voices that speak contrary to their narrative. This does nothing to inform the rest of us, and only generates distrust to those attempting to do the silencing.

Censorship is not science, in fact, it’s the opposite.

Good. It’s called skepticism.

In an attempt to shut down debate and questioning, leftists like to toss around the word misinformation. It’s their “science” equivalent of calling racist.

I’m getting a bit tired of all these purportedly self-assembled groups of hundreds of experts.

Is this the same group of hundreds of experts who swore Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation?

I wish they would cite chapter & verse where this is mandated; I'd like to use it against MSNBC, CNN, and a few other "news" organizations.

What I don’t understand is why the GOP can’t fight back just as hard, they keep using weak, ineffective, weasel language and stern letters to “fight back” with, it’s extremely pathetic.

The useless GOP leader ship can kiss my backside.

I once thought that the GOP was the stupid party. Now that I realize it is actually the complicit party, I understand why they do not fight back

Seems to me our various leaders have done harm to their credibility themselves. Not everyone out here laps up every gem that plops out of their mouths like it’s the gospel. Some of has common sense and critical thinking. A dangerous combo to these wannabe tyrants.

It looks as though Rogan is one of the people Biden targeted in his plea to have “disinformation” platforms shut down.

Joe is making powerful enemies.

270 doctors, scientists, and professors ,,,

I'd be interested in every name on the list, where they work, where they live and who is signing their paychecks.

You're right. I've been calling them the STUPID PARTY for years. I'm going to have to change that.

“to take action against the mass-misinformatio.”

Losers. Don’t you have anything better to do than complain about what somebody said? Sheesh. St. John the Baptist was killed, because Herod did not like what St. John the Baptist said.
