My son who is not vaccinated, has covid. Need information and prayers
Along with the vitamins suggested, possibly start giving him a glass of tonic water every hour to drink. This contains the quinine from which HCQ used to be derived naturally, will put the zinc in cells, and he will most likely start to feel better within 24 hrs. If not, there are other things . . . Note: This is applicable to any coronavirus, of which the common cold is one. Note: most meds and vitamins should be taken with food. Otherwise, nausea and it all comes back up. Caveat: not a medical professional. But have passed along a modified Zelenko Protocol for 18 ms now, and most got well quick, as one of the most common symptoms of zinc deficiency is loss of taste and smell . . .
Instead of seeking advice here where political statements are made if you have a primary physician see him immediately
Ask if he needs monoclonal antibodies
Ask about the availability of the new Covid antivirals his region
Chances are that he has omicron variant which is significantly less dangerous but we don’t know his overall health history and I would not post it on the internet.
Prayers for him. Get him to his primary ASAP
If you have any specific questions you can Freepmail me as well
Prayers for your son, and please talk to your doctor and get his advice instead of relying on random people on the internet.
If he has co-morbidities or just wants the best recovery time possible, he can pursue either at home remembedies or online medical appointments.
At the website link below are other links to medical appointments with doctors who will prescribe medications and connections to pharmacies that will fill prescriptions HCQ/AZ, Ivermectin, Budesonide, Colchichine etc). They are heavily impacted at times so it can take a few days THere are also DIY protocols for prophylaxis and treatment which you can download.
Two popular protocols at the link are Dr. Zelenko's and the IMASK +.
Many FReepers have told me that taking Ivermectin doses for a few days (no appointment- either pill, 1.87 Ivermectin horse paste, or drinking 1 or 2 ml's of injectable 1% ivermectin) quickly restored them and their friends/family to health without side effects and without medical appointments.
🙏
Have read that Melantonin helps too.
Check where to get monoclonal antibody treatment right away.

Without knowing more if he is of average health the odds are overwhelmingly favorable.
With that being said -
Vit C, lots of Vit D, quercetin with Zinc, NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine - get it at Walmart or GNC), melatonin, and pepcid (generic version is fine) for at least one week.
These are all supplements that have shown good efficacy and improvement with Covid.
If his respiration and O2 levels are bad ask doctor for steroids as soon as possible. They really help.
Monoclonal antibodies are a good option through doctor although if he has Omicron they have shown much less efficacy from what I have been reading.
Ivermectin if you can find it.
Prayers for your son. Keep us posted!
How did he find out he had COVID? Doctor's office?
About the same for me. All the vitamins recommended and my stash of horse paste. Can’t say any of it helped but it didn’t hurt. Stayed in bed about a week and was fatigued for a week after. Cough syrup helped and the only bit of fever I had went away almost immediately with some tylonol.
Lactoferrin with diphenhydramine (benedryl) even individually they can reduce symptoms by 30%. Both are available over the counter.
New Research Finds Diphenhydramine, Lactoferrin ‘Effective and Economical’ Against COVID
Zinc pills and Vit D to start .
Hydration and sleep .
Most cases are mild .
If he starts getting really sick , don’t hesitate to get medical treatment
The oxygen level is something that is watched closely .
I used Dr. Felicia Sumner at Push Health. Very knowledgeable and quick to respond.
“where political statements are made “
By you. You just made one.
Lactoferrin,
New article about benefits of Quercetin in conjunction with Benedryl,
I’m a fan of ivermectin and feel it worked.
Search “Covid iMask protocol” for additional dosage and othe recommendations from that site.
I’m a fan of taking what’s need at earliest symptoms, and then monitoring symptoms with a pulse ox.
Prayers for your son and family.
“My husband took him to the ER about an hour ago per his doctor. Now I am really worried.”
DEMAND an infusion of monoclonal antibodies BEFORE any hospital admission, otherwise absolutely refuse admission ... once admitted they’re not allowed to give ANY effective or safe treatment, only Remdesivir is allowed, which does NOT work and has a propensity for destroying kidneys and livers ...
I am not recommending this as I have no personal experience with it but it would seem to be a very benign thing to do that has very little risk associated with it. If this is used, please let us know how it all works out…. Will have to leave it with you to figure out dosages etc. By the way, I’d suggest this as plan B if ivermectin isn’t available....

Pathogens is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal of pathogens and pathogen-host interactions published monthly online by MDPI..... this is the “Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute” and they are based in Switzerland. The other day (Nov. 20, 2021) they put out this piece called “Highly Specific Sigma Receptor Ligands Exhibit Anti-Viral Properties in SARS-CoV-2 Infected Cells.”
It would seem that this is the heart of what this medical paper is saying in section 2.3....
In our investigations into sigma-binding ligands, including diphenhydramine, we sought to reduce the EC50 by addition of another safe, and well characterized protein from milk, lactoferrin. The host-iron sequestration protein lactoferrin was reported to exhibit direct antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 [28,29], is broadly antimicrobial, and possesses host immunostimulatory properties. We tested combinations of lactoferrin with diphenhydramine to measure effects on reduction of EC50. Co-administration of 400 μg/mL of lactoferrin with diphenhydramine further reduced SARS-CoV-2 induced cytotoxicity and decreased the EC50 by 55.5% to 54.2 μg/mL (185.7 μM; Figure 8C,D). The antiviral enhancement effects of lactoferrin are more apparent at lower, therapeutically relevant concentrations of diphenhydramine (Figure 8E). Inhibition of viral replication was also investigated by qPCR (Figure 8F). Lactoferrin (400 μg/mL) was able to decrease N-protein RNA copies by 28.0% 48 h after infection, compared to DMSO alone controls while 40 μg/mL diphenhydramine alone resulted in 32.2% reduction. When combined, they inhibited 99.97% of N-protein RNA copies, a 3-log reduction that was highly significant. These data demonstrate that combinations of two over-the-counter compounds, with well characterized safety profiles, have synergistic effects on inhibition of SARS-CoV-2.
It was in late November when the above MDPI link was first posted of the medical paper. One of the participants on the study was David Ostrov from the University of Florida. Since then, I hadn’t heard much about this but this article is the layperson writeup of this.

A sister of mine - in her 60s and not vaccinated - tested positive with bad cold like symptoms, went through these folks and got a fast monoclonal antibody injection and that was followed with an Ivermectin supply and prescription the following morning.
She starting feeling better the third day, had no hospitalization and by ten days was feeling pretty normal.
