CDC has ranked states based on Covid-19 booster rate. This is the number of "fully vaccinated" residents who have also gotten a booster.
No state has reached close to half of its vaccinated residents getting the extra recommended shot.
Vermont tops them all with 44.9% of "fully vaccinated" also getting a booster.
Next are Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.
At the bottom are West Virginia, Hawaii and New Hampshire. New Hampshire has just 9.8% of fully vaccinated residents choosing to get a booster, so far.....

I think you are sincere, but way off.
I used to collect coffee mugs when I went on trips and then it just became too ridiculous.
I work from home now and really don’t know anyone who works in an office regularly to give this mug too.
But I would still like sipping from it in my home office.
At some point even the dumbest sheep wake up.
It’s a threat, just not as much of a threat as delta. But there are people being hospitalized and dying. Do we not care about them?
Also it’s a threat to the continued functioning of the health care systems around the country. Rhode Island is already overwhelmed, with people dying as they sit in chairs waiting for the doctor.
We get to act according to what we care about.

The people described in that article (yesterday’s paper) had the delta variant. It took place in Rhode Island, where the health system is already collapsing.
There are omicron deaths around the world, however, in places where omicron has been there longer than it has been here.
The health care system could collapse here because of omicron. That is the point I was trying to make.
As well as pointing out that as compassionate people we should care about all the serious illness and deaths. People brushing off the 800,000 as “only” should reconsider how far they are willing to go to make a political point.

Getting a third shot of the stuff that didn’t work seems pretty useless. If the first 2 shots didn’t work and wore off in such a short time then what is there to boost?
