Naw, the 80186 was the first after the 8086/8088 and prior to the 286, but was limited to peripheral devices and some niche computers overseas for people who didn’t know any better. If not earlier, and I think the movie was quite different from the book. The tv show was meh. The cities were in bubbles because of COVID-19 or some other phantom threat outside, and they had to kill people off to avoid over population. Turns out they could go outside at the end.
