Leaving California

I ran into an old California buddy online Sunday. He asked me why I moved to Texas.

We didn’t have a lot of time, so I gave him the shortest explanation I could: “It’s not California.”

For the 10 or so friends, all former Californians, who have moved near us in Texas in the last year or so, no further explanation is needed. In Texas 80 looters don’t pull their cars up to swankiest department stores and loot the place in broad daylight with impunity.

San Francisco is different, and has been for a long time, nearly as long as it has allowed urinating and defecating and sleeping and shooting up heroin on public sidewalks.

That town’s mayor said this week they are finally going to “crack down.” Will police arrest the thieves? Well, we will have to see about that. It’s still a misdemeanor in California to steal anything under $950 in value.

But they are not going to allow people to park cars near the stores. That should work -- as well as anything else in California works. It also should discourage paying customers and maybe clear the aisles for the looters.

We’ve been in Texas nearly nine years. We’ve yet to see a human turd on a public sidewalk, let alone a human depositing one. We’ve yet to see a mob of thieves swarm a store to take away as much as they can carry while police look the other way.

San Francisco Police Chief William Scott told NBC Nightly News stores must be willing to hire security guards to make a private persons arrest. How’s that working out?

Consequently, criminals, some wielding weapons and crowbars, load up, leave, then return for more.

“... looters don't pull their cars up to swankiest department stores and loot the place in broad daylight with impunity...”

In the end, everyone who shops at that place has to pay the price. The store will pad the bill of all future consumers to make up for what was stolen.

It's the same with health care. The one reason why our hospital bill is over the top is because the illegals use the ER for their family doctor and walk away without paying or ever seeing a bill.

Everyone else who HAS insurance, gets screwed! THEIR bill is padded, so the hospital can still make a profit!

Here in North Idaho, you meet many ex-Californians who left the state anywhere from 30 years ago to yesterday. Every single one is a political refugee. I do not think that I’ve heard “high prices” given as the reason a single time.

Idahoans are well armed and it pays off.

California is being slowly and deliberately ceded to Mexico, and to feral animals, and the process has been accelerated significantly in the last 10-15 years.

“If anyone tried that nonsense in my western PA county, some armed citizen would stop them and if attacked by the thief, shoot the bastard on the spot.

The local DA would never think of bringing charges against the citizen.”

Quite simply, that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen posted on the forum.

where it is legal for illegals to walk into a Walgreens
= = =

Not legal, but reduced to a misdemeanor.

With a ticket.

And no prosecution by the DA.

Oh, and don’t touch the ‘poor minority’ you racist.

Her Mr. Landsbaum, I live in California and I’ve never seen anyone take a dump on a public street. Never seen a mob of thieves rob a store either. But I know those things happen. Maybe you’re not looking in the right direction?

This guy hasn’t been to Dallas, Houston, or Austin obviously. Turds, drugs, looters, all for the enjoyment of a homesick Californian. Heck, even Denton is getting taken over by the Californicators.

Quite simply, just stay in kalifornikator you whipped puppy...errr pubbie.

It's not ridiculous, it is a fact that many Western PA armed citizens would not allow a robbery to happen, if they could prevent it.

And if the perp got shot, tough shit, and no local DA would bring charges, you are free to come and try your luck with a shopping cart.

Lots of people here like to puff out their chests about things that just aren’t so. Like Texans saying it’s legal to shoot a person just for being on their property. It ain’t.

Now let’s see if you can cite a single case that fits your scenario.

That's the problem in a nutshell: once it's institutionalized there's really no way back. How many private security guards could a store afford? Enough to stop 80 armed thieves coming to clean the place out? Who know they won't be punished for doing so? And as for the citizens themselves - what exactly are they paying the government for if not for protection against the lawless?

No one is going to "crack down" once this stasis is adopted as official policy of the state. It is, as the proggies proudly proclaim, the New Normal, California Reimagined, and it's here to stay so long as they are there to stay.

Which is why our first objective is to obliterate that relic of feudalism called the property tax.

Now let’s see if you can cite a single case that fits your scenario.

You should join the NRA if you want proof.

Along with your membership you will receive a monthly publication, The American Hunter and they cite 10 -12 actual stories of armed American citizens defending life and property, their own and others.

It happens hundreds of times a day in free states where citizens aren't afraid to stop freaks from public defecation, public stealing and other acts of insanity.

BTW, did you read about a young kid named Kyle Rittenhouse?

Yeah, the asshole rogue DA brought charges, but in the end, justice was served.

In kalifornikator, he'd still be in prison, awaiting a trial date.

This is not me puffing my chest, join the NRA and read about real American heroes.

SoCal born and raised and will never vote democrat, whether I stay or move elsewhere.

Too many people have lurched hard left here and it’s ruined the state, in my opinion. Plan on leaving in the next couple years.
