My advice to people who disagree with the verdict is to use it as motivation to no longer try to get out of jury duty themselves.

Next time, they could be the person on the jury, and then they can get the verdict that they want. But if they never get on a jury, they will always complain when the verdict doesn't go their desired way.

It's the same thing as people who don't vote who complain about the person who wins.
