Bezos is nuts. It would be incredibly expensive to set up colonies on the moon or Mars, and virtually impossible to make them self-sustaining for more than a small number of people. Why would we leave an eminently suitable plane like the Earth for inhospitable places where we would have to live in artificial domes (or whatever) the entire time?
