The SPIRITUAL Significance of the FOREHEAD and HANDS
Old School ^ | 11/5/21 | Patrick Rooney

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Revelation 13:16-17 KJV My parents used to have a large portrait of Jesus praying in their bedroom. A halo emanated from Jesus’ head. That painting and that halo always made an impression on me.

Growing up in the Catholic church, it was common to see images of others (“saints”) with halos too. That is significant to me, as it indicates a consciousness that is available to all who seek it.

A technique called “kirlian aura photography” is used to demonstrate this “halo” effect and other energy fields.

The presence of the halo is consistent with Jesus’ promise that God would send a “paraclete” (the Holy Spirit) to help guide us.

“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth.”

John 14:15-17 NIV Jesus’ hands together in prayer made an impression on me as well. Have you ever considered that there is a significance to placing the hands together?

The head and hands are symbolic. They represent thought and action. But they are more than symbolic.

The third “eye” I have heard a preacher disparage the idea that there is a “third eye,” which is in the forehead area. I don’t know how this could be denied, as when a person closes their eyes to pray or meditate, it is not uncommon to see light in the forehead area. Is this not the demonstration of an “eye”?

Light enters our minds through the pineal gland, which is located above our physical eyes in the forehead area.

Philosopher Rene Descartes once said, “My view is that this gland [pineal gland] is the principle seat of the Soul.”

I tried hard to find a good article explaining the pineal gland and its relationship to spirituality, but everything I found was either too long and complicated or unnecessarily occult-like.

I want to keep this simple: essentially the center of the forehead has great spiritual significance because this is the point of the body where light enters the mind–we were created this way. It happens physically, but it can also happen spiritually through prayer or meditation.

Many people have spoken of a “white light” experience. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Co-Founder Bill Wilson described this experience which cured him of depression. He said he never took another drink afterwards.

I myself have had a similar experience several times, most powerfully when I first started meditating.

Bringing the hands together Likewise, there is spiritual power in bringing our hands together when we pray.

The portrait of Jesus praying in the garden shows his hands together. This is not random!

I have seen many gurus pray with their hands outstretched. If this works for them, that’s great, but it does not work for me. There is something about placing the fingertips together that produces a connection–a circuit–that conducts a subtle (and at times not subtle at all!) energy.

It’s the closing of the eyes and “looking” straight ahead, sometimes seeing light, or sparkles, or often seeing nothing at all, TOGETHER with the fingertips together, that has a power–a power that can transform us, particularly if made a daily (first thing upon awakening, last thing before bed) practice.

I know there are some who read this–usually Christians–who will dismiss what I am saying as “New Age” or something non-Christian. I assure you this is not the case. Just remember Jesus praying in the garden, with that halo illuminating his head. What do you think a halo is?

The “Deceiver” wants to disrupt our connection This is where the “mark of the Beast” comes into play.

Revelations 13:16-17 (King James Version) describes this “mark” being IN the right hand or IN the forehead. I noticed that the popular New International Version (NIV) says “ON” the right hand or forehead. If the mark indicates an insertion of something under the skin, then the King James Version would obviously be more accurate.

The purpose of this article is not to get into a detailed discussion of what the mark is or will be, but to show the spiritual significance of the forehead and hands. Again, the locations are not random!

As discussed above, God, through his Holy Spirit, communicates with us directly through our forehead and hands. To receive a mark in one of these areas is the sign of a rejection of God, and an acceptance of the Deceiver.

And physically speaking, this mark would interfere with God’s communications system.

The Bible describes an end-times scenario where the Beast actually sets himself up in God’s temple, where he proclaims that he IS God.

“He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 NIV Almost all of us have always taken this prophecy literally–meaning a physical temple. But this jaw-dropping video makes the case that the COVID “vaccine” represents Satan’s attack on our body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit!

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?”

1 Corinthians 6:19 Now I’m not here to argue with any Bible scholars about the “true” meaning of the above passage. And I’m not here to necessarily argue that the COVID “vaccine” is the “mark of the Beast.” I don’t know, though the argument is compelling.

I am asking you to watch the video, and let it sit with your spirit. In other words, watch it with an open mind, it’s an eye-opener on many levels.

Keep our connection In this age, where we are bombarded daily with outside influences that seek to command our attention and make us doubt what we know to be true, it is more critical than ever that we maintain our connection to our Creator. No “mark of the Beast” is possible if we love God and stay in communion with Him. But if we forget Him, we break the connection, and leave ourselves open to other “frequencies,” some of which are purely demonic in nature.

Life is meant to be enjoyed, but it is not a game to be played with. The stakes couldn’t be higher–the eternal state of your soul.

The third eye stuff is Hinduism.

All this stuff he’s advocating is NOT Christianity.

“The Secret History of the World” by Mark Booth (Jonathan Black) is not a Christian book, and does not claim to be. It’s claim is that it reveals the ancient knowledge of secret societies. I don’t recommend it as “truth”, but in some parts it offers a different perspective with which to more deeply examine and reflect on accepted concepts of common belief.

For relevance, there are several sections on the “third eye” and the biological and spiritual function of the pineal gland.

very interesting. I’ll watch the video. I’ve actually been reading alot about the pineal gland of late as I’m doing a ton of research on borax (which has the main ingredient of Boron, a required mineral). Borax, in conjunction with magnesium, will decalcify and deflouridate your pineal gland and make it work effectively.

You couldn’t have actually read the whole article. You look at words and determine they’re not true. Not a good practice.

His ideas on anatomy are pretty strange, too:

Light enters our minds through the pineal gland, which is located above our physical eyes in the forehead area.

The pineal gland is not "above the eyes, in the forehead area" but well back in the lower-middle part of the brain, much closer to the cerebellum than to the forehead.

Interesting points made.

That said, here is the location of the pineal gland...

Auras, meditation, the third eye, and stuff are eastern mysticism.

It's new ageism.

I know there are some who read this–usually Christians–who will dismiss what I am saying as “New Age” or something non-Christian. I assure you this is not the case. Just remember Jesus praying in the garden, with that halo illuminating his head. What do you think a halo is?

Where in Scripture does it portray Jesus with a halo around His head? There's no Scriptural support for that.

And if he's basing it on religious paintings, then he's going even further off base.

So, yes, it is New Age and non -Christian. He just can't see it.

Never in my life have I seen that and no, it could not be a demonstration of an *eye*.

metmom, perhaps you’ve never experienced or recognized light inside your mind while in prayer. I have. So have many others, It’s a REAL phenomenon—not based on a painting or paintings. The paintings merely demonstrate something that has happened throughout history. Very Christian indeed, but the experience is not limited to those who “call” themselves “Christian.”

Perceiving a light in my own mind does not translate to it being visible to others, which is what he claimed.

Okay... so how do you know there’s a God? Have you ever claimed He exists?
