She was saying that the D-dimer levels were extremely elevated in some ER patients but often no clots were visible on CT scans or ultrasound. The clots could be too small or micro-sized to detect yet numerous throughout the body, which could account for the unexplained rash-like symptoms on some patients.

Scary stuff, worth watching.
