Who knew? Vladimir Putin. Vladimir Putin. The former KGB agent and current murderous dictator of Russia is more woke about wokeism in America than are Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.
The Russian “president for life” slammed wokeism, correctly saying it is causing societal ills, and claiming it is no different than the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. Putin made his extraordinary remarks in Sochi, where the topic was “Global Shake-up in the 21st Century.” His remarks were translated by an interpreter and the video was uploaded to the Russian government’s website.

Let’s go to the tape, as they say:

Vladimir Putin is shrewd as hell; he knows exactly what he’s doing, which includes playing to Russia’s population in addition to sticking a knife in the ribs of West — with the blade aimed squarely at the ridiculous nonsense in America. Putin knows damn well we are up to our eyeballs in the far-left stuff.
Ever superior, Putin said Western nations have the right to do make their own choices — including hanging ourselves — but that “the overwhelming majority of Russian society” rejected these “new ways of thinking.”
“The preparedness of the so-called social progress believes that bringing a new conscience, a new consciousness to humanity, [is] something that is more correct. But there is one thing I would like to say: The recipes they come up with are nothing new.
“Paradoxical as it may seem, but this is something we saw in Russia. It happened in our country before after the 1917 revolution, the Bolsheviks followed the dogmas of Marx and Engels. And they also declared that they would go into change the traditional lifestyle, the political, the economic lifestyle, as well as the very notion of morality, the basic principles for a healthy society.
“They were trying to destroy age and century-long values, revisiting the relationship between the people, they were encouraging informing on one’s own beloved, and families. It was hailed as the march of progress. And it was very popular across the world and it was supported by many, as we see, it is happening right now.”
While Putin is correct in his observations about wokeism, he is lying his ass off about “Russian society” rejecting anything. Russians who oppose Putin have a tendency to turn up dead. Wokeism in Vladimir Putin’s Russia would be crushed like an irritating mosquito. Hmmm… nah, never mind.

Yet, Putin being Putin, he also took a hypocritical shot at the Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin, who launched a nearly bloodless coup on the provisional Russian government.
“Incidentally, the Bolsheviks were absolutely intolerant of other opinions, different from their own. I think this should remind you of something that is happening. And we see what is happening in the Western countries, it is with puzzlement that we see the practices Russia used to have and that we left behind […]”
But, as with the rest of his speech, Putin had a reason from slamming Lenin and the Bolsheviks:
“In Hollywood there are leaflets reminding what you should do in the cinema, in the films, how many personalities and actors you’ve got, what kind of color, what sex, and sometimes it’s even tighter and stricter than what the Department of Propaganda of the Soviet Communist Party Central Committee did. And the fight against racism, which is a lofty goal, turns into a new culture — cancel culture — and into reverse discrimination, racism on the obverse.
“And it brings people apart, whereas the true fighters for civic rights, they were trying to eliminate those differences. I asked my colleagues to find this quote from Martin Luther King, and he said, ‘I have a dream, that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.’ That is a true value.”
Again, can you imagine Joe Biden saying any of the above? Me, neither.

Let me correct myself. Of course, Biden’s handlers get it. The radical Left will settle for nothing less than destroying America as we know it. And Joe Biden? He is nothing more than their useful idiot.

You’ve got a good point. It’s definitely worth considering. I agree with what he says, of course, but questioning his motives makes sense too.
We can’t fully trust any politician.
The Chinese have banned “sissy men”, transgenderism, and any mention of CRT within their borders as well. And the Chinese Communist Party said that their people are to “struggle” against such things. Soon the Chinese will also be calling us to the carpet on these things publicly.

Considering wokeism is the culmination of the old Soviet plot to destroy the West from within I’m surprised he said anything at all. The alt-far-left-communist-democrat policies are taking their toll, as planned. One is people are starting to go hungry. I read an article about that, “Poll: 3 in 10 Americans missing meals because of Biden inflation”, and you can give that a look at WND. I haven’t gone hungry but I have noticed prices on select items go up enough that I’ve stopped buying them. The old Soviet bread line are going to make a comeback, but not in Russia.
Putin is still very much a Communist. But Communists, once in power, have no tolerance for “deviance”. After the Boshleviks took power, the first groups they purged were the homosexuality. They also know that CRT is only allowed onto the West and has no place in a true Communist society (its an affront to “true Marxism”).
He is just joining RINO’s in doing so. They’ve played Conservatives for decades, right up until they stab us in the back (I’m looking at you Mike Pence).

They also know from past experiences that this crap doesn’t work. That’s why Communist countries have massive purges right away, and the CRT and LGBTQ types are the first to go.
