I played a lot of Off Road, Defender, Battlezone, Astro Blaster, Galaga in the Golden age.
I know a few people who collect and refurb pinball machines, but I was never coordinated enough to play those so I have no favorite, but I appreciate the art and mechanism as I may a fine watch or automobile.
Definitely Battlezone, and Robotron. Though I have very fond memories of playing my dad at Pong when it came out, and Night Rider too
Tempest, Berserk, Battlezone, asteroids
Galaga was my favorite, but I enjoyed a lot of them.
Had to pick up Arcade1UP’s Bandai Namco Legacy arcade cabinet. It’s pretty awesome — Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug and a lot more classics. Brings back a lot of great memories.
NO electronic noises of any kind.
Those were the days.
I can’t remember the name of a single game, though.
There are full playthroughs of Dragon’s Lair on YouTube, for some weird reason I was watching the shortly after the past Christmas. I was a little young to have played it, but it looks legit me it was sadistically difficult like a lot of the old Nintendo and arcade games were.
And, Cruisin USA was a favorite back in the nineties
Dragon’s Lair!
*A fantasy adventure where you become a valiant knight on a quest to save the beautiful princess from the clutches of an evil dragon.*
Repeat every 3 minutes when not being played, at 50 cents a pop.
The arcade I worked at installed that machine closest to the front counter and entrance to attract customers.
It sort of worked, but we at the front desk ensured it was moved away, as we promised we would quit en masse unless it went away.
That was a fun one!

i forgot joust
“Galaga
Pac man
Ms pac man
Tron”
**
I have the desk / sit-down version of Galaga. Played it that way at the arcade when I was a kid.
Asteroids, Galaga, Joust, Burger Time.
“Tempest” and “Asteroids” for vid games, and “The Black Hole” and “Cyclone” for pinball.
Mr. Do.
Tron was the 4 games in one
Discs of Tron was the disc combat game, it was supposed to be the fifth game in Tron but wasn’t finished in time
Megaditto. Just pinball, never video games.
Uncoordinated as I was I somehow learned pinball techniques and became terrific.
I seemed to go into a zone in which I observed myself playing from outside of myself. My buddy called it “going Zen” when I did it. The ball seemed to move wherever I felt it should move.
i’ve played most of the games either way
Dig Dug
Centipede
Asteroids
Cruisin USA was great.
Late 90’s/Early 2000’s, I was a monster in Golden Tee Golf.
