Superman’s mission statement has become a part of not just comic culture, but pop culture itself over the past few decades. But after all those years of standing up for “Truth, Justice and the American Way,” Clark Kent has a new rallying cry.
As part of DC FanDome, DC Chief Creative Officer and Publisher Jim Lee announced Superman has a new mission statement aimed at better reflecting the modern day. His new mission statement? “Truth, Justice and A Better Tomorrow.”

Yeah, rather tragic and comical at the same time, about the better tomorrow part.
The way our intellectuals have devalued America, it’s rather
idiotic to talk about the American Way any longer.
It’s more like, Truth, Justice, and anything but the American
Way.
Truth, Justice and Descovy™ for PREP!!
Not fit to line a birdcage.
Truth, Justice, and Build Back Better Tomorrow.
That’s what I was thinking, straight out the DNC playbook.
If you really want to see the bleeding edge of liberalism in entertainment, the dying comic industry is it.
His red cape is made in China.
Truth justice and anal leakage
from booty rammin.
The future is Rainbows, Unicorns, and Fluffy Bunnies!!!
Next World’s Finest teamup: Superman and Little Orphan Annie.
The white Annie or the more recent black one?
With liberal socialists indoctrinating everyone into believing that the American Way is bigotry and greed, no wonder. Freedom has become almost a curse word to them.
“Kal-el, this is Jor-el, surprise, we survived the explosion of Krypton and well this is hard for us to say but you are no longer in our will.”
Why is it still “Superman”? Isn’t that too sexist? They should change it to Superperson, and change his skin tone too, while they’re at it.
What’s funny to me is that they are so desperately trying to mess with everyone’s image and understanding of our folklore, but they can’t do it. They don’t seem to understand we have a collective memory...our conception of “Superman” will never change.
Truth, Justice, and a stop at the Manhole bar on Castro Street to pick up a super STD.
I think they ruined it 15 years ago with Superman Returns where Perry goes ‘Truth, Justice, and all that stuff’ so this isn’t entirely new. Just a real shame to make it official.
Well, Superman is a reporter with a big city newspaper after all. Par for the course.
You are letting the woke define”the American way”. That definition was established via the founding fathers. The woke is just trying to switch it, to mean what it doesn’t.
