Americans’ vaccination status against Covid-19 is likely to influence how they spend the holidays this year, as a new Harris poll finds that vaccinated Americans are broadly hesitant of spending time with unvaccinated family members and friends—including at holiday gatherings.
he poll, conducted from September 17 to September 19 among 2,055 U.S. adults, including 1,454 vaccinated ones, found 50% of vaccinated respondents are either “extremely” or “considerably” hesitant to spend the holidays with unvaccinated family members or friends.
Only 38% said they were not hesitant about making holiday plans with the unvaccinated, while 12% said it’s a non-issue because all their family and friends have gotten the shot.
A slightly larger share of 52% of vaccinated respondents said they would be very or somewhat uncomfortable about attending a holiday dinner or gathering knowing some attendees are unvaccinated....

Vaccinated and unvaccinated is another way to divide people. If you are vaccinated you do not have to fear infecting or being infected. Once you are vaccinated you are safe. Theoretically at least. The only reason for vaccinated people to avoid unvaccinated people is because they are being a dick.

Basically the military doc went over statistics with me, telling me indeed that very few die of covid, I think it was like .25% of those who catch it die. However, unlike the flu, allegedly, it is this 2-5% who end up in hospitals or at the ICU that cause a problem. “And this is where this vaccine solves the problem! You still get sick from Covid, but at least hospitalization is down!”

That risky vaccine is simply there to merely save money to Obamacare and Insurances!!! Not to save your life,!!!! That was the low down of their last resort plea to me. It is all about money and FDA “economics”.
And then he touted the vaccine as being low risk, causing about 50 fatalities per million, compared to auto accidents causing 150 per million!
This is not low risk at all. Auto accidents are probably a leading cause of death ahead of all other diseases combined. And this is not including people with myocardials which he miminized as “a bit of fatigue”.

I will be perfectly honest: I got the vaccine because it was free through work and because I thought they would let me go maskless. I am not afraid of vaccines because at the very least I will get a better immune system afterwards. I know this is true because I had an immune response after I had my second shot of Pfizer. Pretty soon they will offer me a booster, and meanwhile I am tracking down the JandJ vaccine which I will get just because it is different from the Pfizer. I also had TDAP, shingrex, a flu shot and the first of 3 hepatitis vaccine doses. I am not only vaccinated I am supervaccinated. See my virtue?

In other societies a taboo like this would have been a reason to exchange gifts and trade to approach people, but in ours it is now perfectly fine for liberals to use it as a form of hate. If that is what you mean, then I don’t have any scientific proof.
If you are talking about this specific friend, then I don’t know how he contacted the virus and I am not about to ask. It wasn’t from us as we haven’t seen him for some time.

The question is who is “worrying” the most.
It is ironic that a vaccine that kills the young for a disease that does not kill them would all of a sudden be touted as one to protect the young from the unvaccinated infecters!
To add insult to injury, “for the children” these vaccines were developed on fetal stem cells. But it is for the children...
