Americans’ vaccination status against Covid-19 is likely to influence how they spend the holidays this year, as a new Harris poll finds that vaccinated Americans are broadly hesitant of spending time with unvaccinated family members and friends—including at holiday gatherings.
he poll, conducted from September 17 to September 19 among 2,055 U.S. adults, including 1,454 vaccinated ones, found 50% of vaccinated respondents are either “extremely” or “considerably” hesitant to spend the holidays with unvaccinated family members or friends.
Only 38% said they were not hesitant about making holiday plans with the unvaccinated, while 12% said it’s a non-issue because all their family and friends have gotten the shot.
A slightly larger share of 52% of vaccinated respondents said they would be very or somewhat uncomfortable about attending a holiday dinner or gathering knowing some attendees are unvaccinated....

Why should this be limited to holidays? Just go away.
If the jab works, why the fear?
I cannot fathom living in bondage to that kind of fear.
Isn’t the vax supposed to protect them?
Then why are they worried about being around the unvaxxed (the new unclean)
Maybe it’s just me, but I have noticed in the last two weeks that vaccinated people are ostracizing the unvaxxed more.
Good- now i can blame it on them....
The ones that say “no” are the science deniers. I had covid and refuse to get vaccinated and my work treats me as I am eternally infected with covid.
By then it will be the unvaccinated that don’t want to be near the vaccinated.
The vaccine works so well I can’t be around people that have it! The logic is mindblowing. (PS, the vaccinated at the holidays will be just as likely to contract and spread covid as the unvaxxed)
If the jab worked Big Pharma wouldn’t be making as much money.
For the immune compromised who really have to watch their exposure to covid, and who have to do their research and be honest or suffer the consequences, let me tell you: By far the most dangerous place to be is with a group of people who have taken the vax and are hanging around with no mask on coughing
These are the spreaders.
“By then it will be the unvaccinated that don’t want to be near the vaccinated”.
Right on!
Thank you for not contaminating the ‘control group’ of this national experiment.
Yeah—I have relatives like that.
_Another_ reason not to get vaxxed!
Based on some of the statistics being reported, maybe we should be asking our family and friends if they’re vaccinated, and if so, ask them to stay away. The sheep who have taken the vaccine, I’ve shown their stupidity, and now cower, probably getting boosters every couple months, soon every couple weeks or maybe even every couple days at the rate that Fauci is going. Then, as they realize lifetime impact of their choice, they’re going to ask the taxpayer to subsidize their infirmity.
I think this is more like it. It seems like most of the cases I am hearing about are the vaccinated (most with boosters)
I think unvaccinated people should get together with other unvaccinated people they have not met in person but kind of “know,” such as Freepers finding other Freepers close by, and potluck, have a little Pinochle tournament, silly White Elephant thing, whatever, and then brag about how much fun they had when asked by their vaxxed friends and families what they ended up doing on Thanksgiving.
It will be interesting to compare the illnesses that each group comes down with (or doesn’t) a week later.
Exactly. Why did people get the vaccine and still worry about getting Covid? It makes no sense if you believe the vaccine works. The world has gone mad.
But they’re vaccinated!? They’re immune!? *chuckle*
