I’m on a rail line from WV to Norfolk and I’ve noticed a lot more coal cars lately

Shortages of coal & natural gas to produce electricity don’t bode well for the electric car industry.

Montana has a $1,000,000,000+ trust fund from coal taxes.

We ship coal daily.

Good thing the world is converting to electric vehicles to fight a non-existent climate change while coal and nuclear power are being killed off. It’s not like half of the civilized world was telling them what was going to happen. Vote for stupid people, get stupid results.

The only reason anyone would run out of coal or natural gas would be liberals and their stupid green mandates.

Good thing Merkel shut down all their nuclear power plants a few years ago so she could virtue signal.

Enjoy shivering in the dark Yurps.

Europe’s virtue signalers can always say they are 'green' they will also be very cold and perhaps broke too.

The virtue signaling elites NEVER have to pay for their crimes - they'll make sure there is plenty of heat in their offices and homes and let the little people freeze.

I am sure the freezing to death this winter will be blamed on “global warming”.

The closure, similar to what we have observed over the past two weeks in China, is the first sign that Europe may need to count on mild and windy weather to keep the lights on as the continent faces shortages of natural gas and coal is unlikely to come to rescue.

You can’t count on anything weather wise.

Fire up those solar panels and wind turbines! What? Those things don’t just turn on and provide steady and stable power!? Say it isn’t so!

Husband: "Bump up the thermostat, love. It's chilly in here."

Wife: "I did. The power seems to be off."

Husband: "It'll pop back on in a little while."

(Come the first of the year...)

The governments are bringing about a poplar clammer for an end to climate change restrictions.

The way to silence the climate change wackos is to have them shouted and maybe eliminated by the real citizens

Thermal coal is in short supply. Germany relies for a lot of its power on burning lignite, the poorest but most plentiful grade of coal, and producing the most CO2 per btu.
