Xavier Becerra is a lawyer who has no degree in medicine or science. Despite this, he is the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.

I laughed with sadness that Bacerra’s response was, “I have worked for the government” trying to sound as if being a bureaucrat is some majestically qualifying achievement granting him god like powers.

First off, if we’re going to have lawyers in gov’t. they should know the law & set the example. Perhaps this one is just another example of a person improperly placed for thr role being played. We seem to have an overabundance of them in our gov’t. nowadays from the top on down.
