Smith & Wesson Brands Inc. has called Massachusetts home for 170 years, but the company’s CEO said that legislation pending in Beacon Hill could bar the manufacturer from making certain types of firearms – including AR-15 style modern sporting rifles – in the Bay State. As a result, the company decided to move its headquarters and facilities to the Volunteer State, which has stronger support for the Second Amendment as well as a lower cost of living.

I was astonished to find out that in 2021 this company is still headquartered in Assachusetts.
The North won the first civil war by having a huge manufacturing advantage over the South. Especially firearms. That has been changing over the last several years. Just sayin’.
Kimber, Beretta, Remington, and several other gun and ammo manufacturers have been moving south, to more 2A-friendly climes. In fact, Kimber moved from Yonkers, NY, right down the road here to Troy, AL.

This is in my hometown. My family worked there for a couple of generations. The City is going to hurt because of this. But our Congress Critter is Richie Neal. He won’t notice S&W is gone because that would require him pulling his head out of Pelosi’s ass.
The mayor wants to help 550 families losing their jobs? How about endorse their 2nd amendment rights, help fight idiotic state laws? Okay, best help now is to assist them in their moves and start downsizing the local government in anticipating a lot lower tax revenue?

Someone told me the state rifle of Tennessee is the Barrett M82A1. I don’t know what that is but it sounds like a good choice.
It really sucks. I traveled extensively in New England and overall it is American awesome. The problem is politics,government and demographics.
I’m looking to move to Tennessee too... anyone know where is a good place to look?
Nobody cares where they are made. When are they gonna get rid of the zit?
