First, they told you the vaccine was your way out of the dark, out of the lockdowns. And if enough of you took the shot, the pandemic would be over.
So you lined up and took the jab. And you took the second dose.
THEN they said to wait. You could still transmit the virus. In fact, you could still catch COVID.
On top of that, your viral load could be as high as the unvaccinated.
Boom.
So you’d still need to wear a mask. You’d still need to distance.
And voila, boosters would be necessary.
How many boosters? Unknown. Maybe one a year, or once every eight months.
If you take the boosters, would you still need to wear a mask and distance? Apparently, yes.
They keep claiming the vaccine will protect you against severe illness and hospitalization, but…the clinical trials of the three major vaccines were structured to show the shots would only prevent MILD ILLNESS. Chills and fever, or a cough. They still haven’t told you THAT.
Let’s see, what else? Do you watch football? This past weekend, as college and NFL games, swung into action, HUGE CROWDS of unmasked spectators filled the stands all over the country.
Do you really think officials vetted those people, to make sure they had vaccine passports before they entered the stadiums? Are you kidding?

Victoria’s building industry will be shut for two weeks after a day of unprecedented protests at the construction union’s head office, with windows smashed, projectiles thrown at senior officials and riot police closing down a major city street.
Some critical infrastructure works, such as hospitals and some ongoing level crossing removal projects, will continue during the shutdown that starts from midnight.
Three industry and union stakeholders have told The Age they had been informed that the Andrews government will announce the industry closure on Monday night.
The Master Builders Association of Victoria confirmed the shutdown in a Facebook post on Monday night, saying the two-week closure would begin from 11.59pm...
Late on Monday afternoon a group of workers moved towards the building’s rear entrance where CFMEU officials stood gesticulating at protesters.
Projectiles were thrown and scuffles broke out before some of the protesters ran from the scene claiming a union official was holding a gun. Dozens of riot police then moved to separate the two groups and deployed rubber bullets. The Age has not verified if a firearm was at the scene.
About half an hour later, riot police began moving down Elizabeth and Victoria streets in unison firing rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the group, causing the demonstration to fizzle out.
The Age witnessed three men hit with rubber bullets, including one who suffered a hand injury and another bleeding from his face...
Police defended not arriving at the scene until late in the day, saying the “crowd grew increasingly hostile”. Another rally was being promoted for Tuesday at the CFMEU office by anti-vaccination activists on messaging service Telegram...
One flyer distributed to members said: “Our rights and conditions are under threat, there is a core group of members within union delegates and within members who believe this attack on our conditions and rights should not be allowed.”
“We will no longer sit in the dark, this is our union, our city and we will take it back if need be.”...

One of the types you mention recently left my workplace to take another job. During the past two COVID years, she herself coughed and sneezed on a regular basis, but if she heard someone else doing so, she could get alarmed (depending on her mood that day) and run to the office manager to complain. I’m glad she and her unpredictable drama are gone.

Victoria didn’t have a single “covid” death between 19 October 2020 and 14 September 2021.
