Wow. That is terrible. Very sorry to hear of the deaths; I am sure there will be more to come. The dogs are doing everything they can.
I’ve read that dogs in search & rescue, when they find a living person, wag their tails and wait for their handlers. Those that detect a dead person hang their heads dejectly and also wait for their handlers. Dogs are truly man’s best friend.
“It’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature.” (I think that was the slogan on the commercial from way back when).

The landslide followed days of heavy rain in central Mexico and M7.0 earthquake on September 7 in Acapulco. Which was immediately preceded by the Supreme Court of Mexico legalizing abortion. Just sayin’.
