Bret Weinstein is an evolutionary biologist. He's not against vaccines per se but is a skeptic of the ones for COVID. He's also a proponent of using ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine regimens for preventing and treating COVID. For that, YouTube demonetized his broadcasts.
From that vantage point, Weinstein has an interesting take on how game theory applies to public health in the time of a pandemic such as we're in now. It goes something like this.
During a viral pandemic, the public health authorities may conclude that the best policy is to vaccinate as large a percentage of the population as possible, providing, of course, a vaccine is available. Once a threshold of the vaccinated is reached, the thinking is that herd immunity will kick in and eventually drive the virus to extinction. Here's where game theory comes in.
The health authorities view vaccination as being for the overall good. However, many individuals will refuse taking it as all vaccines have risks associated with them to one degree or another. In Weinstein's hypothetical example, the non-vaxxers are relying on others to assume the risk of vaccination while they 'free-ride' on herd immunity. But if enough people free-ride, the desired threshold of the vaccinated is never reached. To counter this, the health authorities feel they must do what they can to get as many people vaccinated as possible. This includes using blatant falsehoods and scare tactics. The authorities feel justified in lying, putting out misinformation, and censoring opposing views. It's all for the common good, they tell both themselves and their political master.

There is nothing “noble” about these “vaccines” or about they way they are being forced on the citizens of our Republic ... “forced” being the key — and accurate — term.
Does Isreal not have enough people jabbed yet then? Or is the theory behind the game theory wrong about facts?
I think this is exactly the rationale that the elites have told their minions, and the minions really do feel as if they have a duty to lie in service of the “greater good” of humanity.
As for the motivations of the elites themselves, I am starting to think they could care less about individual lives, or the “greater good” of humanity. At best, they are forcing risky vaccines on us to rescue the economy and their stock market portfolios. At worst, this is Phase I of a larger plan for a different kind of “greater good” altogether...
All highly vaccinated countries are experiencing the same thing. Because it’s not a vaccine.
The problem is the idea that the government is and ought to be in charge of you, in your life risking decisions.
The correct idea is that the only role of the government should be in helping to disseminate clear, accurate and truthful information, as widely as possible, so that individual adults have that information to help them make decisions for themselves and their minor children.
Even masking should be an individual decision, not a mandate.
In Korea in the 1960s, during the winter flu season, you’d always see many children heading off to school wearing little white masks. But it was always voluntary and never universal.
Delta cares nothing for the “vaccines” that have been created. In fact, it may swim in them.
I get the feeling that TPTB intend to never create a vaccine for this virus.
This is what you get with government healthcare.

The little catch—the tyrants get to decide when a lie is “noble”—no surprise then when they lie about everything at that point.
If by noble you mean a handful of people are making money. Then yes they are very noble.
This has already happened. I'm old enough to remember when doctors weren't scared to death to deviate from the script. I've had 2 amazing doctors in my days, one was a WWII army doc that did all his blood work and urine analysis in house and actually listened to his patients. The other was a down home doc that would know and converse with his patients wherever he saw them. I adored them both but their gone now. I haven't met a doc I could trust since then.
Please also note that YouTube hates Brett since he was the prof demonized at EvergreenState ‘cause he wouldn’t go along with a racist game being played there by BLM-type thugs. The univ Pres completely caved to all demands and Brett and wife were removed. They sued and got a large settlement.
This set him up in YouTube’s eyes as someone not in automatic support of *meetoo lies and racist crappola — which they support because it divides America.
Prior to their attacks and censorship he had many videos online explaining evolutionary biology in layman’s terms. Great listen. Too bad such info is forbidden now.
Don’t always agree with him. But I have to respect him.

This “free-ride” theory is rubbish.
True, I am avoiding the risk of an unproven vaccination - but I’m NOT doing that in order to “free-ride”, i.e., let others bear the risk of vaccination while I share the “benefit” through vaccination-triggered herd immunity.
In fact, don’t believe others should be taking the vaccination either, unless they are among the tiny fraction of the population at very high risk of dying from Covid19 (.002%).
And I believe herd immunity would have been achieved faster and better WITHOUT the wide-spread use vaccinations (or whatever these experimental shots are).

The ignoble lie is told to cover up the massive crime against all humanity where Mr. Fauxi illegally funded banned gain-of-function experimentation to build a bio-weapon that was released into the world.
