House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday blocked the names of the 13 US service members killed in the Kabul blast from being read after a moment of silence on the House floor.
“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week.” Congressman Gimenez said on Tuesday.
“Don’t you think our military deserves better?” he added.

Rep. Brian Mast told the Floridian Press Pelosi refused to recognize the fallen Marines.
Rep. Brian Mast (R), a wounded combat veteran from Afghanistan, tells The Floridian that during a Republican-only “moment of silence,” Speaker Pelosi refused to recognize them to” read names or bring up bills or anything.”
“We gaveled in, had a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, took a moment of silence with pretty much all Republican veterans, then asked to be recognized to read names and bring up Afghanistan legislation. They did not acknowledge us, and just closed the House down,” said Rep. Mast.
13 US Service members were killed last Thursday in Kabul because of Joe Biden’s incompetence and corruption.
11 men and 2 women in uniform died by a suicide blast because of Joe Biden.
The Democrats want to sweep this under the rug and move on.

Nobody has a right to speak without recognition from the chair. That's how deliberative bodies work. Plus, these sessions are pure fakery anyway. Both the House and the senate are conducting "pro forma" sessions. Nothing remotely close to quorum is present, but they aren't about to call themselves out. The Supreme Court has recognized thse fake sessions as being real sessions, refusing to deal with reality.
This is a great example of the US government in action. Dishonest to the core.

So what would she do if they all read, yelled their names all together, would she have them arrested for doing so? Oh the optics for that. GOP yell the 13 on House Floor after Pelosi says they can’t, they get arrested. Another missed opportunity by our party.
Does anything think the Dems would listen to McConnell if he had said no on house floor?
