I'd be STUNNED to find out any US-Born Citizens were left behind, other than some John Walker Lindh types. Natrualized citizens have at BEST mixed loyalties, and are generally welfare cheats. Afghanis who worked for us, who are still there, are mainly Afghan soldiers who dropped their weapons and ran.

This is a good thing - last thing we need is more taliban sneaking into the country. All the acceptable Afghans left before the May 1st deadline.

It looks like the financial elites want to end the Petrodollar--that was the arrangement where the Saudis agreed to only sell their oil to countries in exchange for dollars. They agreed to this (back in the Nixon days) in exchange for the US guarantee of security for the Saudi state (=Royal Family).

The collapse in Afghanistan has created an opening Russia to offer protection of Saudi security in exchange for Saudi abandoning the dollar:
