Joe Biden's Russian Ammo Ban: A Backdoor Attack on the Second Amendment?
19FortyFive ^ | 8/30/2021 | Peter Suciu

Now Biden is seeking to punish gun owners and at the same time chastise Russia by further banning the importation of firearms ammunition even as the country faces the greatest shortage of cartridges it has ever seen.

โ€œNew and pending permit applications for the permanent importation of firearms and ammunition manufactured or located in Russia will be subject to a policy of denial,โ€ the U.S. State Department announced last week. The start date for the โ€œbanโ€ would begin on September 7, 2021, while the sanctions are expected to be in place for a minimum of twelve months. The sanctions were a response to the alleged poisoning last year by the Russian government of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Of course it is, and it frees up production for the Taliban to get more ammunition after they use up their current stocks by executing their own people.

Republicans representatives should file impeachment charges against ChiComjoe for all of his traitorous and anti-American actions, including every time ChiComjoe steals oxygen.

There was a brutal video of the Taliban executing prisoners on the internet a few days ago. And I do mean BRUTAL!

Can’t find it now.

Moved the factory to one of the friendly neighboring states. LOL, Joe Kennedy would have known how to get the ammo into the states. The cartels will know how to get it in if it means $$$$$ for them. Maybe that’s the problem, the factory in Russia won’t give the Big Guy a share. ????

Couple years ago my son bought a Dragonov Rifle from the Russian military.
Had to be sent to a lisanced dealer to pick up. Then he purchased 1000 rounds of ammo from the same source that was delivered directly to my home.
You should have seen the look on the Fed X drivers face when he looked and the markings on the wooden box from said russian military.

Hopefully one of the non-sanctioned com bloc countries will bring production up to provide cheap steel case ammo for the usa recreational market. At least russia has new market for all the steel case 5.56 now that the taliban has a stockpile of nato arms.

Maybe some contact with a new Afgani(Ex-Taliban)refugee,
can secure some wholesale for us? Tallies have tons of unused munitions! Also need to contact former AG Holder’s contacts, south of Texas!

Joe can give terrorists billions of dollars worth of weapons, but he won’t a,low law abiding citizens to have easy access to ammo to protect ourselves if the tsliban ever attack

Who is Joe looking out for again?

That’s awesome. Not too many actual SVD’s around. I understand there’s only a few dozen real Russian SVD rifles in the states. PSL’s however, are fairly common and are often confused with dragunovs

Moved the factory to one of the friendly neighboring states.

This will probably happen, but will be expensive and take years. And it is a risky investment because it will only take a stroke of the pen to ban imports from whatever country it is moved it.

Also note, the ban applies to all the components, so primers, cases, bullets. So not like they parts can be shipped to Yugoslavia, where they are put together and shipped to the US. The actual component manufacturing will have to be moved.

Real dragunov, I’ve shot it and it makes even me a better shooter.
Course today the ammo is expensive, thanks dementia Joe and not much available so he keeps what he has

Yugoslavia no longer exists. Wolf manufactures some ammo in Serbia, I believe
