Marine Officer Who Questioned Generals over Afghanistan Is Relieved of Duty
Breitbart ^ | 08/27/21 | Joel Pollak

Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller of the United States Marine Corps revealed Friday afternoon that he has been relieved of duty for posting a video criticizing military leaders for failing to take responsibility for the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In the video, Scheller, a 17-year Marine Corps officer, said that he knew he was risking his career by speaking out, but that he wanted to explain why so many service members were frustrated, in the wake of the terror attack on U.S. forces in Kabul on Thursday.

“The reason people are so upset on social media right now is not because the Marine on the battlefield let someone down. … People are upset because their senior leaders let them down, and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying, ‘We messed this up.’ If an O-5 battalion commander has the simplest live-fire EO complaint — boom, fired.”

He called out Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen., Mark Milley, and others.

Those statements cost him his career.

On Friday afternoon, he posted:

To all my friends across the social networks. I have been relieved for cause based on a lack of trust and confidence as of 14:30 today.

My chain of command is doing exactly what I would do… if I were in their shoes. I appreciate the opportunities AITB command provided. To all the news agencies asking for interviews… I will not be making any statements other than what’s on my social platforms until I exit the Marine Corps.

America has many issues… but it’s my home… it’s where my three sons will become men....

She gets to brag about her desire to kill Americans when martial law is declared and faces no backlash.

*** Erik Prince said today he would ensure the Lt Col is well taken care of because his courage deserves no less.

Those that walk away from Earthly things and trust their lives and fortunes to God have nothing to worry about. ***

Is that the same Erik Prince charging $6500 a seat on his Outbound Afghanistan flights? Because no war whore Billionaire misses an opportunity to create a business opportunity out of misery, and fear of death.

He has bad judgment.

One man's bad judgement is another man's patriotism.

What if the Founding Fathers had not had the 'bad judgment' to rebel against England?

He gets a ton of free publicity out of this, and if he’s run out of the military he doesn’t get a COVID vaccine forced on him. Sounds like he knew exactly what he was doing.

He has great judgement. He’s taught his children a most important lesson. Sometimes doing the right thing is not easy. Good on him

It is an indictment of our general-grade (as opposed to field-grade or company-grade) officer corp that it is a 17 year LTC having to say this publicly. If he gets drummed out, and those who created this Charlie Foxtrot do not, our military is totally done.

But hey! At least all those general-grade folks are all woke and lgbt-friendly!

Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller ought to run for congress.
Instead of posers he might be an honest person.

The left has sugar daddies like George Soros who deal out dollars as rewards or withhold them as punishment and thus the left keeps its potential renegades on the reservation.

If you are a whistleblower who supports the left and attacks the right, your afterlife will be financed. Not so for honest Marines on the right.

I assume that Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller is not cynically speaking out to launch himself into a new political career and that his motivation is entirely genuine. I can only note that a subordinate officer in the army of Adolf Hitler or of the Kaiser in The Great War actually enjoyed more freedom to voice opinion and countermand orders given the proper circumstances on the ground than do our officers in the face of Galactic stupidity that we have seen in Afghanistan.

You’re taking unfounded piss shots at E Prince who has acted heroically under fire to rescue those facing certain death.

WH Jan Pukesi, Mediate, and all the odorous Marxist Propaganda Media are blowing gas out their anus about E Prince and the $6500 and you are carrying their pisswater for them without explaining the facts.

Prince addressed the $6500. It was the cost of the private charter passenger jet without insurance. No passenger plane can get insurance into and out of Kabul. E Prince is NOT profiteering from it although the Marxist press are lying that he’s a war profiteer and you are falling in behind their BS.

Prince has a lot of $$$’d connections but the fastest deal he could put together was to offer to provide pilots risking their lives flying a private charter costing $6500 a head.

At an estimate of 10,000 evacuees, the private charter wants upwards of $65,000,000. Prince has access to money but not that amount on emergency short notice.

Your smelly leftust buddies throwing crap at Prince could have easily pleaded with their fellow demented WH connections to spend the $65 million for the charter but no, they have to heckle those trying to put together a rescue while they don’t lift a finger to stop the death sentence to the 10,000 souls their side abandoned in Afghanistan.

“his sons have one heck of a father.”

Equally so, his parents raised an outstanding son. And undoubtedly, some long retired TBS personnel are also proud.
