Is Jen Psaki lying or is the Biden administration in denial about Americans who are stranded in Afghanistan, unable to safely travel to the airport?
During Psaki’s Monday press briefing, Fox News’ Peter Doocy made the distinction that Americans are by and large not criticizing Biden’s decision to leave Afghanistan, but the “way he has ordered it to happen by pulling troops before getting these Americans who are now stranded.”
“Does [Biden] have a sense of that?” Doocy asked.
Psaki, in her best Ministry of Truth voice, denied that Americans are currently stranded in Afghanistan, which has descended into chaos since Biden’s inglorious “withdrawal” from the country.
“First of all, I think it’s irresponsible to say that Americans are stranded. They are not. We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home,” Psaki shot back at Doocy [emphasis added]. “We are in touch with them via phone, via text, via email, via any way that we can possibly reach Americans to get them home if they want to return home.
“‘There are no Americans stranded’ is the White House’s official position on what’s happening in Afghanistan right now,” Doocy pressed.
“I’m just calling you out for saying we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan,” Psaki retorted, “when we have been very clear that we are not leaving Americans who want to return home. We are going to bring them home, and I think that’s important for the American public to hear and understand.”

When the Taliban starts posting video of them executing Americans in the streets of Kabul it will be hard for Psaki to deny this.

It’s really pretty funny hearing Biden’s dimwitted mouthpiece accuse anyone of being “irresponsible.”
OK so then give us a count of how many Americans are there. Produce the phone, text, and email records. Liar!
She always claimed the WH “cares” about “anyone who wants to leave” being able to leave.
Sort of like at a classical music concert where people wait until an appropriate time to ask to go to the aisle of the concert hall rather than cause an imposition to others.
Except the Taliban or ISIS may strafe them or shoot a rocket into the ground they’re walking on as they desperately head toward the airport.

All I can say is she really does defend the President but I really think must be a spirit medium for Baghdad Bob even though he is still alive.

Yeah, the clock is ticking and the stories are that so far, many Americans are unable to get to the airport. Next Tuesday, we’ll see how well that statement holds up. As it is today, there are Americans waiting to leave.
What is the latest figure for stranded Americans? I am still trying to figure out what most of them were doing there. I saw one squirrelly figure who was a professional photographer. What were the rest of them doing there? It would not surprise me if the actual figure is a lot fewer than the media is hyping.
