Does it make Max Boot feel big to tell a former President of the United States to "shut up?" The Washington Post columnist and Never Trumper did just that on today's Morning Joe.
In his recent Washington Post column, Boot argued that neither Trump nor Mike Pompeo nor Mike Pence, have any right to criticize Biden's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal since they set it in motion.
Boot summed up his position by trumpeting:
"People like Trump and Pompeo just need to find a good opportunity right now to just shut up and stop criticizing something that they set in motion."

On radio brief news yesterday, CBS said “Trump had a plan to evacuate in May but Biden set the date later.”-—as if they can blame him! I hate those media people so much.
Earlier they had a WH soundbite that claimed “we didn’t dispose of Trump’s plan; it was never really a finished plan put into practice, it was only a plan.”
News people are still looking for something to blame Trump about.
Looks like a step to me.

Some homeowners try install a door or window in a wall that looks like any other in the house it turns out to be made out of logs from the original log cabin. Instead of sledgehammers and saws to cut a doorway you now need a chainsaw. Sometimes it is a wall made of fieldstones, wattle-and-daub, etc.

Anyway, I would tell him, “No, honey, you don’t get to tell anybody to shut up. Dissent is patriotic. Question authority. You might not like what someone says, but he still has the right to say it. If you don’t like those parameters, get another job.”
Boot can go entertain himself.
My last duty station in the Navy was in Washington, DC, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Command (NAVCOMTELCOM). The LT in charge of us was married to Borda's son and to put it mildly, she was an ignorant and haugty woman riding on the Borda name. Shortly after Borda's suicide, I was in the process of checking out - retiring from the Navy - and so was not paying attention to what was going in with the command.
A few times over the years I have wondered what became of her. Her haughty attitude seemed to rub people the wrong way and I wondered that since she did not have Borda to protect her, if she ever continued her carreer in the Navy.
Looks like a porch/patio was turned into an indoor space, maybe for his airtime.
