They're doing it again—scrabbling through the dustbins of recent history in search of solutions that have never worked. The Bible says it best: "As dogs return to their vomit, so fools repeat their folly" (Proverbs 26:11).
Since he took office on January 20, President Biden has issued scores of executive orders, memoranda, and proclamations in a cascade of paper-tiger efforts to return to the "good old days" of the Obama administration.
Biden's Cabinet picks have also reflected his nostalgia for familiar faces and fallacies. Most of them are Obama-era retreads like Sec. Austin at Defense, Sec. Blinken at State, and Sec. Yellen at Treasury. Apart from the old-timers, the one governing principle here seems to be that each candidate has been chosen to ensure maximum diversity of race, ethnicity, sex, and gender preference. Apparently, it's all about identity politics. Dr. Martin Luther King must be spinning in this grave.
There's nothing more dangerous than a man with only one idea unless it's a man with too many ideas. Our desperately groping leader has way too many ideas. Among the worst is the notion that, when the country you're trying to lead has too many unhappy citizens, the best way to fix the problem is to open your borders and bring in more unhappy people from all over the world. That has proven to be a political and fiscal time bomb.
If we take a closer look at the details of Biden's growing library of executive orders and proclamations, we see a sinister future for both the United States and the rest of the free world. Consider these two lists of radical changes in our nation's foreign and domestic policies:

The US has completely failed, but one of the big problems is that most of the rest of the Western world is simply out of the game because they’re cowering under their Covid insanity...lockdowns, staggering economies as a result of closed businesses, insane rules imposed on people supposedly responsible for fighting, etc. Sitting ducks all.

Actually, I think it's more likely Biden has NO idea, at least none of his own.
It's government by committee, which includes his former boss, his wife, and his handlers. It's perfect for them, since Joe takes all the heat when it all goes south. They have no real authority, therefore no responsibility. They don't have to scream "You're not gonna pin this on me" since nobody will anyway.
I almost feel sorry for the man, the way he's getting used up like this. Maybe they'll have pity and retire him before his numbers fall to single digits?

I do not feel sorry for him. He’s a mean SOB, and when he’s lucid, he believes this stuff.
Its going to get a lot worse in the next 30-60 days.

We have Executive and CINC: instead, we have a junta of different Dem interest groups to whom different agencies have been farmed out-- Defense, State, DHS, Labor, etc., are all run by cabals of Dems and their interest groups.
A snail could maneuver faster than their decision loop.
In addition, each cabal exercises an effective veto over its policy decisions, no matter how disastrous. Defense takes no responsibility for Afghanistan, DHS takes no responsibility for the wide open border, etc. There is no one in the White House to hold any of them accountable, so they do what they want no matter how much the polls crater for the Dems. And many Dems are probably not that worried as they figure they'll just rig the next round of elections anyway.

I don’t think so we may give Taiwan the ultimatum. To be serious China and Russia will with luck just sit back and let us keep screwing up. Iran is a different story they may try something so that the Taliban don’t get all the glory.
