The Biden administration ordered the U.S. Embassy in Kabul to destroy all American flags before they depart.
An internal memo obtained by the Washington Post, titled “Emergency Destruction Services at the Garrison,” was directed to “All American Personnel.”
The memo instructed staff to destroy classified documents and equipment as well as dispose of “American flags… which could be misused in propaganda efforts” using incinerators, disintegrators and “burn bins.”

Their toilet paper funding for an hour costs more than a magic marker to write “Never Forget” across some butcher paper and placed over the entrance. Yeah, yeah, we forgot the next week and elected a muzzy the first chance we got.
This is more of a surrender than avoiding that the flags be used for propaganda.
The media will paint a different picture. One in which biden is the hero, saving millions of innocent people from certain death, restoring democracy to a people in stress, bringing back peace to the middle east, and feeding the sick and comforting the hungry.
Why I expect he’ll be getting the nobel peace prize very pronto.

Before 2024, Biden will sign an executive order banning the flying of the US flag at US embassies, and in his second term, he'll ban the flying of the US flag at all government offices on US soil.
BTW, it isn't a coincidence that Obama/Kerry/Biden lifted Iranian sanctions and then paid the bastards -- it laid the groundwork for the final victory of the jihadists, and was meant to do that.

Why destroy them. You could take them and fold them correctly and bring them home to be properly displayed and enjoyed.

BTW, I “publish” some of my favorite poems on a display stand outside my house. I leave each poem up for about 2 weeks. People walking by read them and they love them! I usually pick a theme (such as summer, water, or a particular month) and find poems online that relate to the theme.
I was doing months as my theme right now, so I had done August and I was searching for poems for September (in general) and then Sept 11, in particular, since this is the 20th anniversary.
Except for a handful of poems written right after the event, I could not find a single poem that was not an anti-American, “the US deserved it, down with capitalism” rant.
I don’t know if it’s the fault of the poets or the fault of the editors who accept this garbage (which in addition was not good poetry), but I think the cancellation of the Sept. 11 commemoration reflects this attitude and the fact that it has taken over.
Also, we had heroic actions by cops, firemen, EMS, and even priests and rabbis. So of course this memory had to go.
I think we’re avoiding the quasi-tradition of the ambassador delivering home the flag that flew over a fallen embassy
Biden is an idiot. This is why Obama waited so long before endorsing him. A man does not spend 47 years in Washington and accomplish nothing unless he does not have much to work with. That is why I dd not vote for him. His uselessness was obvious.
