Not one general or politician will face consequences for this.

How much of that $88 Billion ended up lining the pockets of connected U.S. contractors and people like James Biden.

Plenty. Maybe the majority of it.

And a lot of the trainees probably were not committed to fighting for self rule either.

Problem was not training the Afghan Army the mission should have been the total destruction of the Taliban their means and will to resist. Oh wait! That was the mission statement during WWII. Guess I am just getting old and not up to date on the woke Army missions of today.

ARVN was actually incredibly heroic even after we left but the DNC made sure they suffocate eventually when the very last advisors left.

BTW,the Taliban is going to acquire one hell of a Airforce and military infrastructure to keep all of their gains due to the retreat and defeat of the American military.

Every penny of taxes paid across the lifetimes of 167,000 US taxpayers were funneled into that effort. Are you one of them?

“”Now The Pentagon is sending in 3,000 troops.””

Supposedly to get embassy personnel out...Dagen McDowell read a quote of Biden’s on The Five tonight where he said there was no way there would be a repeat of the way embassy personnel were taken out of Saigon.

There is no army or military in the world that can function if it is propped up.

Military force is something that has to be seized by loyal and patriotic individuals or it is a wholly mercenary force at best.

Politicians never face consequences for what they do with the taxpayers’ money. worst that happens is that they don’t get reelected and go into a lucrative lobbying job.

I would have thought “The art of war” would be required reading for our officers.
I also think “The Prince” would be mandatory.
Instead they watch “An Inconvenient Truth, read
the Koran, and are taught CRT as fact.

Yeah, but some military leadership and politicians live like kings in palatial estates...some here in Texas.

88 billion dollars is impossible to audit but I'm sure a lot of it bought some mighty spiffy homes for the political elite.

Try teaching them agriculture. Same results. It wasn’t always desert over there. I read a book written in the 1800s that described it as “slothenly agriculture practices” and also saw a video of a guy that went over there several years ago to try and teach them how to grow food and he put it as, “they just can’t be bothered”.

On one of my gigs in Asscrackistan one of my duties was armed escort of minibuses containing Afghan workers on and off the base. One morning my boss told me to pick up three Afghan Army “soldiers” and run them through the drill. When I picked them up, one of them was wearing heavy mascara and lipstick. He hopped in the truck next to me. I was thinking, WTF is this? So we head out to do the escort. This guy, extremely gay, is giving me a “come hither” look and staring at my crotch. I’m thinking, Christ!- here I am trying not to get ambushed or blown up and this freak’s oblivious because he’s fixated on my c*ck. I knew right then that the whole show was a bad joke. We were never going to get these people up to snuff. It just wasn’t possible. Man, you should have seen there incredible lack of weapons control. Dangerous.
