It’s not so much the ones that die, it’s the ones like my brother-in-law who wind up so debilitated after 3 weeks on a ventilator they can never function independently again. Very sad...and very expensive for society.
I’m unvaccinated. I had the Wuhanic plague back in April, and got over it. Now I’m doing just fine.

Consider, the illegal Biden admin claims 67% vaccination rate. (way too high, but we'll use their number against them). With 329 million people in the US that leaves about 108 million and change of us in the control group of their drug trial.
If we all get it, and 99.97% of us live, that means a mere 0.03% die ... Which is a little under 33,000 people. That's a relatively light flu season.
So let's do this - let's get this over with. The vaccinated are allegedly safe. Everyone else, let's roll the dice, wrap this up, and get back to normal with natural immunity. For the 0.03% sorry, but we're all going to go someday.

IF survival with the best medical in the world is 99%....Then what is holding back the uninfected who reject vaccines from just going out an get intentionally infected to get the lockdowns over with ?? It’s a piece of cake to sail right thru that 99%, right? Surely the unvaccinated clinging to the 99% like a security blanket aren’t ...scared...of a 99% wimpy virus...are they?
No Millions more would die with no access to medical care once the health care system was overwhelmed, no-supplemental oxygen, etc. Then millions more without covid would die with no access to hospitals for their heart attack, strokes, GI bleeds, appendicitis etc.
i’m so sorry to hear about your brother in law. You are correct people overlook cases like is when they only look at mortality statistics. Or the most wages/ productivity of having people out of work for weeks even if they do recover fully.

Agree 100%. There is no reason for us to keep hearing about covid.
