What’s Really Going On with Iran? It Doesn’t Look Like the Biden/Obama Administration is Really Interested in Peace in the Middle East

Are Biden’s officials really interested in concluding negotiations with Iran or are they just pretending to negotiate to provide cover for Iran while Iran rushes to a nuclear breakthrough? On July 14 , 2015, Daniel Greenfield wrote in Frontpage Magazine that Obama signed the nuclear deal with Iran to cripple American power in the Middle East:

…Obama did not go into this to stop Iran from going nuclear. He did it to turn Iran into the axis of the Middle East…supporting Iran is his way of blocking the power of his successors in the White House to pursue a more pro-American foreign policy…

…Obama claims to “have stopped the spread of nuclear weapons” by allowing Iran to keep enhancing its nuclear program and rewarding it with ballistic missiles for its “peaceful” intentions. He claims to have negotiated “from a position of strength and principle” when in fact he surrendered to the Iranians on position after position. Tehran negotiated from strength and principle. Obama sold out America…

…Obama and Kerry have not made this deal as representatives of the United States, but as representatives of a toxic ideology that views America as the cause of all that is wrong in the world. This is not an agreement that strengthens us and keeps us safe, but an agreement that weakens us and endangers us negotiated by men who believe that a strong Iran is better than a strong America…

…Their ideology is that of the screaming anti-war protester denouncing American forces and foreign policy anywhere and everywhere, whose worldview has changed little since crying, “Ho! Ho! Ho Chi Minh. NLF is going to win” in the streets. The only difference is that he now wears an expensive suit…”

“... It Doesn’t Look Like the Biden/Obama Administration is Really Interested in Peace in the Middle East...”

Biden and his stooges are so beyond incompetent in so many ways that it’s likely they will cost us our country.

Biden and most democrats, don’t care about foreign policy or national defense.

They’re too involved with turning the country into a socialist/communist paradise. The world can go to hell.

Regardless of what America does, Israel will deal with Iran in a definitive manner should the necessity arise. Israel has a Mossad network within Iran that has been incredibly effective in limited actions. Its stealthy drones cannot be stopped. Nor can F 35s carrying full ordnance.
However it should be noted that the Biden administration has done all it can to scrap the Abraham accords. It should also be remembered that Israel is allowed only one major strategic error of commission or omission in this conflict.

Not going to happen. Or rather the Peace of Death, more like what Iran’s mullahs are working toward

If only F-35 had the range without refueling - such refueling planes are also limited in range. FYI F-35s can only carry 4 bombs, else they have to sacrifice what little stealth they have. Assuming their turbine blades do not suffer coating loss and assuming the stealth coating does not come off - they may evade Iran’s S400 systems.

You are way too kind. They intend to cost us our country and their team orchestrated the theft of the whole country, so we should not underestimate their competence as the enemy communists that they are.

I read an analyst who put the best possible motives on the Obama administration. He said Obama was trying to create a tension in the Middle East between Iran and Saudi Arabia that would keep them in a cold war where neither had an advantage over the other, thus...peace.

The problem with every liberal dream is they never play it forward to what comes next. They are focused on the (flawed) view they have now and thinking that the situation is static and if they just tweak this or poke that everything will then be wonderful. Assuming Obama had pure motives, which I doubt, he didn’t take into account that Iran is a hostage taking culture. Nuclear weapons makes the whole world Iran’s hostage. The world would give in on small things, but those demands would not stay small. The cost of correcting Obama’s error, assuming it wasn’t on purpose, would potentially be millions of lives and huge swaths of poisoned earth.

Another issue is, Saudi Arabia, if it isn’t already, can become nuclear in a short time by getting them from Pakistan. You think Pakistan won’t sell nukes? Pakistan is so dysfunctional, the only reason it still exists as a state is the neighbors and America are pretending it is. Pakistan is always a few explosions and assassinations away from anarchy. Nuclear armed anarchy.

Then there’s the Saudi government. The present regent is the closest thing to a reformer Saudi Arabia has ever had. His name on the door was printed in chalk with a damp sponge hung nearby. Islam is designed not to be reformed...and he’s trying within the limits of his position. What happens when a country that already depends on the outside world for 90% of its food suddenly falls into chaos and civil war? Uhm...because of Obama, now they’d fight a nuclear armed civil war. I’m sure someone out there in FR land would respond, well, good.

Setting off nuclear weapons in an area supplying the bulk of much of the world’s oil will cause starvation on an unbelievable scale. It would be much better if the problems could be, if not solved, contained. That means not tipping the first domino...Nuclear Iran.

Iran can only be coerced into peace and President Trump was doing that. Biden and his Obama sponsors will do all to keep them alive as a threat to Israel and the Islamic countries that are looking toward the end of three quarters of a century of war with Israel and the West.

It's the same old age old classic issue of oligarchies believing they can control the chaos. That's what made a mess of things in Europe for centuries, now worldwide in modern times. The bulk of the stink with Iran lies on the French. They were counting on having premier access to energy resources in the region by forging a Franco-Iranian alliance with the Ayatollah Khomeini faction, giving them all sorts of support to come out on top, only to get burned, saddling the rest of the world with what we have now. They were either clueless that they were dealing with people who don't play well with others or were so arrogant that they were certain that any regime they installed would be clingy and reliant upon them and be run like a colony.
