With so many Cubans protesting the travails of socialism, and so many in the US extolling socialism's virtues and complaining of systemic racism, why not create a system whereby X number of Cubans are allowed asylum in the USA as long as Y number of unhappy Americans are sent to Cuba (with US citizenship revoked)?
I would envision sending, say, 10 whiny college students/professors/professional agitators to Cuba for each individual allowed to come to the US.
Cuba would benefit from our "best and brightest", who could surely show them how to do socialism "the right way". The US would benefit by ridding itself of traitorous, misinformed, non-productive idiots. The Cubans entering the US would likely respect this country and be more productive than those who leave.
I think it is a grand idea and I would even sponsor one of those Cuban and bring them into the home to live until they are on their feet here. Lovely.
